Happy to be corrected here, but it doesn't, and to be honest that's the correct thing to do. Valuation is subjective and could easily be exploited beyond belief. The only tangible way of valuing a player is how much they are bought and sold for, which is how its recognised now.

I'd suggest a **** the EFL chant at the next game but most of our crowd may think they sang Mr Blue Sky -
I don't fault Tops intentions, but he seems vastly out of his depths on a business level, and puts way too much trust in some utterly incompetent figures.

Transfer Embargo. Lovely. -

The huge irony being that pre this decision, we had finished in the top 6 twice in a row, and have got absolutely nowhere near since. -

Remember when Sunderland fans told us Lee Congleton would ruin the club. They we right, we knew it would happen but still bent to every request Rodgers made until it was too late. -

So it appears we've fallen into a grey area regarding when and who we submit accounts to. I just can't fathom how nobody at the club has felt this needs clarifying so that this exact situation doesn't arise?? Similarly, we can be pretty sure we have failed the FFP £105m limit, be interesting how much we've failed that by. -

So we failed to even submit the accounts on time? We are horrific. -
Agree that Coady should come in, but I'd prefer a Faes and Coady partnership despite form of Faes. Nelson has huge talent but now isn't the time for him.
-
Yeah I agree, solely using him as a player I rate at that high-championship but probably not Premier League level.
-
I think Enzo could work with a lower quality player if its the right kind of player. (For example, I'm not convinced O'Hare is premier league quality, but feel Enzo could get him operating to or near that level because of the type of player he is). However, that reduction in quality may not effect how well we did in another championship season next year, but we would feel it if we then went up. Quality gap would be even larger than it is now to PL.

What it does though, is making it easier to make a loss on a signing rather than be lumbered with them (Soumare, Souttar etc). It's a better system, and easier to track too. Not perfect, but let's not let that stop it replacing PSR. I'd also argue a net spend of say £80m on 8 players should be very doable if you include a loan or two and the occasional free agent. -
Championship team of possible transfers. Who has impressed you?

Dreaming of our first choice 11 here: Hermansen Ricardo Faes Vestegaard Justin Winks Ndidi KDH Fatawu Mavididi Vardy Amazingly, we haven't been able to pick that side since the 3-1 win at Swansea on 21st October!

KDH, Faes, Vesty, Ricardo, Justin, Ndidi, Praet, Vardy, Iheanacho, Daka

You make some really good on level of breach etc. I don't quite buy the sporting advantage argument, all because you cheat and still suck, doesn't mean you should be punished less than those who do it successfully. -

Forest are being done for 1 year in the PL, it was quite well reported that their punishment will be reduced because of that. Simple fag packet equation that if they are doing 4 points for 1 year in the PL, they may do 12 for a whole 3 year period. (Although Everton does counter that) -

On one hand, hilarious to see Forest losw 4 points. On the other, with that logic, we are likely On for a 10 to 12 deduction ourself. -
Reading his quotes in the article, I read it that Danny just didn't want a pay drop to move
-
Kelechi won't be here next season, you're much better off giving Daka and Cannon the time to improve on their skills for our way of playing. Thought Daka did okay without really having much opportunity to be involved today. Presses so much better than any other forward we have
-
2 CBs, a LB, a backup to Ricardo, a replacement for Wilf (if he goes), another 8, a winger who is comfortable on both sides and a centre forward. Today showed who won't adapt to the step up
-
I liked that we had an obvious "down to 10 men" tactic of a back 5 which we obviously didn't away at Coventry. Agree that Coady for Ndidi should have been done at same time as JJ for Mavs though.
-
Way too much negativity on here (as per). Did brilliantly to pull it back, better team in 2nd half. Red card changes everything. Some really good lessons to learn from today.
-
Boy that will do Stephy wonders! Playing football the enzo way! Naive my arse!
-
It's nothing to do with nasty stuff (in my opinion). Its communication, decision making and in hamza's case, effort from the back 4. I'd like to see Hamza and Vesty off for Coady and Justin. A little more of a standard back 4
