Concerns about the direction of the club
Vazman replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
Its hard not to be concerned about the direction, yes there are always mitigating circumstances for a decline, but to go from where we were, to where we are now, takes some doing, we can blame managers, players, coaches, injuries etc but what the decline boils down to is complacency, staleness, indecision, blind loyalty, lack of forethought, succession planning and more, if the hunger for success is waning, then move people, or the problem on, and get us back to being mainstays in the Prem. -
Even slightly injured he would not be on the bench, it's truly baffling, I'm not an advocate of name calling etc but find it hard to defend SC decision making

Foxes Trust - Special General Meeting request
Vazman replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
Great post, hits the nail squarely on the head, something has gone terribly wrong somewhere sad to watch it unfold to be honest -
Off course we can beat them, so long as Cooper picks the right team, comes up with a decent plan, and executes it, trouble is will we get this, or follow the Palace match, team selection, and in game template, if he does, we will lose, big match for so many reasons let's get our first home win of the season 👍

Whether it was an individual error that led to the draw, or not, we needed a win for many reasons, Palace were there for the taking, however a draw is not the end of the world. I really dont think Coopers methods will survive the season, before everyone including Top etc, get frustrated, I just cant see us kicking on with him in charge, he is a nice bloke etc, and I would love him to kick on, we need something better to compete better, the team is not playing to it's full potential, we have the team to stay up.

Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)
Vazman replied to FoxinNotts's topic in Leicester City Forum
Steve Coopers analogue setup in a digital era. If we lose in the same fashion as Villa and Fulham he can get FuĂ—Ă—ed... Spirited performance or not, we need points with a spirited performance please. -
Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)

I think the approach to this match will either confirm your analogy or he may suprise us, if its the former then it's going to be a long season, we have the team to collectively win matches just not sure Cooper will go for it. -
To be honest I was expecting worse, its not all bad, let's hope Cooper can make it work, early indicators suggest a bumpy to rough ride. I see Danny Ward is still hanging around, no one come in for him, he is never going to leave.
-
This is where I am right now, it was not a great performance today, the team collectively can do better, Cooper nice guy and all that but cant find the words to describe today's performance, hopefully we kick on, today was a game we needed a draw, minimum, with a points deduction looming.

Rudkin and Top are way too close, Top obviusly trusts him, to the point he thinks everything would fall apart without him. Its stale throughout, not a single change when we were relegated at board level, an internal review, that likely blamed everything on Rodgers. There are always mitigating factors at play, but if Top thinks he is getting the best from his DOF, and value for his money, then he is misinformed, and destined to be a mediocre championship club. Top needs to wise up, for the future and benefit of the club, or ship out, we are nailed on for relegation this season to think we were once touted as the best run club in the Prem, the envy of many clubs, and a source of pride to fans, to where we are at now, wake up Top. I still love the Foxes and always will, it is gut wrenching too see it continue, to unfold.

Concerns about the direction of the club
Vazman replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think this will sum up our season, it all feels flat at the moment, I am hopeful of survival in the Prem, but what then, what comes next, whats the vision, what's beyond survival, stale ownership, stale DOF, a real stagnant feel to everything, hopefully Cooper can lift all this with the players and get some sparks going this season with some memorable performances we can but hope. -
I honestly think the team and Cooper will give it a good go, and had a points deduction not been looming, we could have just about stayed up. The points deduction will play its part, and will be what sends us back to the Championship. However it could well be what keeps us going, with all the issues, I'll be more than happy just to survive this season.

RIP Shakey.

I'll wait for @StriderHiryu annalysis of Steve Coopers tactics, we wont win many prizes this season but reckon he will do a job for us and give it 100%

Your welcome

Yet here you are reacting and commenting about other peoples views, just because it doesn't fit your narrative it must be ludicrous, what's the point to foxestalk if people cant express an opinion

With this mildly uninspiring Manager choice, the cost of match day tickets, the PSR nonsense, our avoidable relegation and not a word back ref the review post relegation or any visible of note changes of the back of said review. Sometimes I fu"$ing dispair at our clubs decision makers, its gut wrenching. But it's those decision makers still employed at the highest level of the club that have ensured we have created the situation and ended up with Cooper, I wish him well I really do.
-
Steve Cooper no choice but to back him, I'm not thrilled by it, our season is going to be horrendous as it is, whoever's we got, can we not just go back to the Championship and get an unknown in again, I have a feeling it will be a better watch. All that hard work last season, down the drain with a no other choice option, at least that's how it feels right now.

I think this sums it up and is where alot of us are right now TBH.

That photo was probably taken after Lunch with Rudkin

In all seriousness I'd rather Potter than any of the others mentioned, having had a year off to reflect etc I'd like to think he will come back refreshed and enthused, without all the pressures Enzo is now going to experience with Chelsea, I think he may be looking for a decent long term project and we definitely fit that bill, I just hope if it is him everyone gives him the time to make real changes, I think we potentially are in for a honking season so I'd be delighted if he keeps us in the Prem but wont be suprised if we end up relegated again positive move if he comes.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly I will let you decide who is who...
