  1. Like others agree with Finnegan about Rodgers - poisoned the club. Of others, Cooper gets an easier time in this thread than he should
  2. Only if Pardew came in on a 10 year deal
  3. Agree that the Israeli/American war is making the world "more worrying." With regards to the "strange" impulses driving this, maybe they'll have their day of reckoning
  4. Loud, proud, get these KP lot out. They can take their simps with them. This matters
  5. I want to post something snarky, but do you know what, I can't be arsed
  6. To the nine so far: who are you? Let's be having you!
  7. Not all Reform voters are racist*, but an awful lot of racists are attracted to Reform... (*I can't actually back this statement up, because every one I encounter is!)
  8. Club is under existential threat and they're talking about the Premier League
  9. Just to add that I find it shocking - disgusting even - how eager many right wing 'politicians' were to allow US to use Diego Garcia, Akriotiri etc in the initial strikes. They're a genuine fifth column acting against our national interest
  10. Starmer should treat Trump's latest comments as a badge of honour. Genuinely, if Trump is praising you, you're almost certainly getting something wrong. The war is clearly illegal under international law. The pretext changes on an hourly basis. There's obviously no plan for what comes next. By those tests alone (and leaving aside any ethical considerations which IMO are even more important) it is *obviously* correct to stay out of it. History won't be kind to the current US administration.
  11. Stunning on one hand, entirely predictable on another
  12. FWIW failings of character and temperament make nearly all of our squad unsuitable for any level of competition let alone L1. You can carry the odd dosser, but not a squad full
  13. No you're right, can't stand him. That's why I forgot the 'c'. Marc can stay in Tamworth for all I care
  14. Realised I can't look at Rudkin perched by Top's side without thinking of Grima Wormtongue from LOTR. I am certain others will have mentioned this, so apols for being late to the party
  15. True, but I don't get the Vichai worship either. Give the credit to where it's really due. Look at how things were panning out without Nige! (Yes Claudio, yes Nige needed reappointing...)
  16. Rudkin should never have been in charge of the academy, let alone his current role!
  17. At least we have a training ground to flog to Marinakis on the cheap...
  18. By the eye test, I wouldn't expect us to beat anyone. We're a rabble (Cba to trawl through historic posts, but I recall clearly how *spectacularly* naive some folks were about this season. "Just get a CF and we'll be fine." "The division is rubbish." That kind of stupidity. Some of these posters no longer post anything on here. Go figure! Most people in the stands have *no idea at all* about what they're watching! FWIW we remain massively over-priced for relegation. If it wasn't for feeling treacherous I'd lump on.)
  19. Think I've made this point elsewhere. Just want to stress on thing: it's OUR club. We must never back down. Keep pointing out the idiocy, hypocrisy and weirdness of the KPFC types. Deep down they know what they are. They can act how they want, but they don't get to dictate what we think about them. My objective* is this. I want going to matches to be enjoyable, for now - but also for the future. Make it something the younger supporters look forward to like I once did. A chance to be among loud, united, sometimes edgy and committed fellow fans. Not having this diluted by nonentities who don't care one iota. KP have cultivated this. This situation can't change without their replacement by ownership who are prepared to shake things up in the stands. Otherwise we're waiting for nature to take it's toll: a 20 year project haha (*Non-football objective. Obviously I'd also like some competent leadership, and action to break the cycle of decline on the pitch!)
  20. What would you suggest we do, Tiny earl? Genuinely keen to hear from you
  21. I stand corrected! Soz, Mark. (Wondering to self if people from Tamworth are as curious a bunch as those from Coalville? Not everyone, in case anyone takes offence!)
  22. And he's a Brummie (Just kidding love u Mark)
