Genuine question. Why pretend far right views are from the "centre"? Why equivocate: "I am not saying *I* support this, but I understand why others do." And the classic "the word "racist" is so over-used, it has no meaning." Far right supporters ought to be brave enough to *own* their opinions. Instead it comes across like they're actually ashamed of them?

Concerns about the direction of the club
Clogger_ replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
"Lillehamring" writes *exactly* as I'd expect of someone influencing conversations on behalf of the club :-) Reminds me of someone who posted with a 'Frank Sidebottom' avatar a long while back. They were particularly active after a controversial decision, maybe the Pearson sacking? They posted as if they were trying to shut down dissent. Probably nothing, but it pricked my antennae at the time! Anyway, this is probably one for the mods to delete ;-) -
Don't seem to match up well with this lot. I'd take a scrappy draw.

Genuinely egalitarian, is cricket. The one sport where you can rock up and get skittled in true "What the *bleep* happened there?" fashion. Only afterwards do you become aware that the opponents had an overseas semi-pro, or a young tyro in the England schoolboys! Beware the crafty elderly swing bowler! He was MUCH, MUCH better than you back in the day...
-
I've been bowled out by people from all backgrounds. Black, white, rich, poor, male, female... They've all been too good for me! I don't discriminate
-
Huh? Cricket a 'white' sport???
-
You have just described talkSPORT

Nice area! Personally enjoy a day at Lords. I view the members with curiosity... A bit like a museum exhibit. They certainly appreciate their wine!
-
If you live near Lords, I'm guessing you are far from working class!
-
Can't make someone sign a contract if they don't want to - no matter what incentives we offer. We have no idea about Tielemans' demands. Naive to think otherwise. (Imagine Youri will only sign a contract with a £50m release clause. Would that help us?)
-
Just watched it back. It didn't seem quite as frenetic and stressful as it did in the ground! Quite a few 'nearly' moments from Vardy, Tielemans and Barnes. With true match sharpness we'd have made more of situations in the second half. (Wolves will also be a different team if/when Jimenez gets back to speed.)

This is wonderful. What achievements! Thank you Tomek for sharing

Got it. Maybe in Oakham, Bosworth or suchlike? MOST towns in Leicestershire aren't like that - not even close. But I don't like dividing fans into categories. I know plenty of passionate City fans of all backgrounds. 'Class' has no bearing at all on whether people want to sing :-)
-
Many, many more City fans in the county than Tigers I reckon. Also many working class people!
-
I mean, what on earth is a middle class school?
-
I'm not sure that TamworthFoxes is quite the spokesman for the 'working class' football fan that he believes.

So composed for his age. Looks to have a steely determination. Really impressive! He has a massive future.

We weren't great, but we have to bear in mind that teams don't turn up to roll over. Wolves are a decent team, and always a tough game for us. Great result, vindicating Rodgers' decisions.
-
We did see the game out...
-
Knee-jerk reaction of the day?
-
Great result. Always a tight game, this one. We move on.
-
And yet we are winning
-
We're all entitled to an opinion, but your sniping against Rodgers is so utterly, completely off the mark... (FWIW my opinion is Praet = meh.)

Goodness me, talk about a random contrary position.... There's always one!
