  1. Be proud when you do it! I will. Such a ridiculous era looking back. Groups of blokes carrying rolls of lino around with them. The stupidity of youth I'm glad I was involved. What an absolute tit I must have looked.
  2. Is Robin Gosens still married to Mike Tyson?
  3. Should have received two red cards for that. Total frustration, Man City have dominated this 2nd half.
  4. He could be arrested for that. Maybe he should wear longer shorts.
  5. I know Guardiola loves his 'false 9' routine, but in a game of this magnitude, you really need a centre forward. Man City have escaped on the wings a number of times and put some dangerous balls across the box but there's been no one there. I cannot understand having the ability of De Bruyne, Foden and Mahrez to beat a defender, yet having no one with that goal instinct to be on the end of chances.
  6. No worse a sight in football than Neymar laddering his tights and falling over again.
  7. It's obviously very early, but Man City look determined not to repeat previous knockout round mistakes tonight. They really look on it so far.
  8. Too often we fans focus on the idiots in football. The ones breaking rules or making a bit of a tit of themselves. It makes for good conversation I suppose. Sometimes it good to be reminded of the other side. That whole piece by Ndidi smacks of a thoughtful, down to earth, reliable and above all, professional young man. No airs and graces, just a brilliant attitude. I know I was far from that mature at 24 years old. As a Leicester City supporter, that's a great read.
  9. The Jonny Evans one is the worst of the lot. Must have been based on a blind artist's impression.
  10. Hashim Amla with a pair for Surrey in their defeat by Middlesex. 3 ball duck first innings, followed by a golden duck for the pair.
  11. To Mourinho, moving to Celtic would be an admission he's finished. I just don't see him doing it under any circumstances. He'll wait until a club in one of the four major leagues becomes desperate and evokes the (probably defunct) 'but Mourinho wins trophies' clause. He'll be excused his trophyless stint at Spurs because they are Spurs, and, let's face it, he got them to a final, just wasn't allowed the chance to keep up his trophy winning record this weekend.
  12. A little, but that's down to age.
  13. I understand the need to avoid hyperbole but that was a massive game tonight given that quite a few of our top 4 rivals dropped points at the weekend. I'm generally pessimistic, but I think too many people are being harsh tonight. We put the game to bed in the first half. Let's not forget that West Brom were competitive until the first goal went in, then we passed them off the pitch for the next 15 minutes and strolled it. So, we seemed to take our foot off the gas a little. So what.
  14. Only if I exorcise my inner Basil Brush...
  15. It wasn't the normal football manager platitudes after a win. I didn't expect it and was pleasingly surprised.
  16. I start well, tail off in the middle, and the less said about the end, the better. It's also an age thing. At least I convince myself it is.
  17. I like the ambition of the manager being hacked off with a 3-0 stroll when interviewed. He didn't look particularly pleased.
  18. Only in the mornings?
  19. I'm a faceless mug on a football site, you don't owe me an explanation Let's all just rejoice in a comfortable win mate
  20. You bought a shit phone I think.
  21. Professional performance. Massive 3 points in the grand scheme. Well played lads.
  22. Professional performance. Massive 3 points in the grand scheme. Well played lads.
  23. Must be the transatlantic delay, he was subbed 20 minutes ago!
  24. Was going to like that comment. Just want to check first, when you say 'opposition fan', are you a Baggie? Otherwise, it's a lottery and I hate Man U.
