As usual with England the game moves very fast. Almost like they wanted to bowl yesterday so made sure their innings was quick, whatever happened. Horrible start but in the end you have to say England win the day again. You can't deny its entertaining. I understand the positive approach, and fully endorse it, particularly on a dangerous pitch but that Crawley innings was bizarre. Stick up for him more than most do but there were actual slogs, almost every ball. Brook was the same but its going his way at the minute and he got through it and cashed in again.

Important toss to win but its lazy batting hiding behind 'being positive' Feel a bit for Bethell as he's just shown his inexperience there.

Just introduce the stop clock for subs, goals, injuries and for dead balls at the referees discretion ie, last 20 minutes. Rather than introduce rules that won't be enforced.

Faes is now in a position that no-one remembers the good bits, but everyone remembers every mistake (admittedly that's because they tend to lead to goals) There was a pretty crucial bit of defending just after West Ham scored. He's just not the kind of defender you can rely on when you are under pressure, especially when as a team we allow opposition so many attempts at goal. If we get a reasonable bid in Jan then its the right time to sell and hopefully re-invest in a better option and long term partner for Okoli.

Unfortunately for him he isn't quick or skillful enough to be a Premier league winger in the true sense. However he is good at making intelligent runs, finding space and gets himself into goal scoring positions, he does much better with that effort if its on his right foot. I think his best position is an 8 in a Klopp like system. Useful to have around, and be called upon occasionally but don't feel he can be a regular starter.

You do what Soucek does to a defender its not given as a foul imo. Mads needs to be stronger in that instance. I wouldn't be happy if we had a goal disallowed for that.

I've felt at times that Vardy doesn't do enough in his captain role. Not in performances, but with his leadership. But last night I enjoyed him being a bit more of a leader with the young lads in and around him. Seemed to be encouraging and directing, saw him communicating with Soumare and Kristiansen and they seemed to respond well.
