If you can separate it from the current times then there is part of me that'll enjoy certain players being back together but it needed to be once Kante, Mahrez and Vardy had retired to be a real event. I do find it a shame that the fans are so against the club right now, and rightly so, that this kind of even can't be enjoyed for a bit of a laugh.

I'd prefer him to sign for a competitive side, even if he only plays a bit part. 3 relegations in 4 seasons, not sure what enjoyment he's getting out of these last few years. Seems to prioritise playing rather than success so that's commendable I guess.

Will Gordon get the McTominay glow from playing in Europe? Doesn't seem the skin type to enjoy the climate I'm with everyone else, can't see what Barcelona see in him. A lot of money for probably back up, big initial outlay but wages cheaper than Rashford.

At least it's different teams winning it. You'd have to ban English team from it to stop them being favourites, if you reduced the teams qualifying for Europe you'd have one of the big boys from our league in this competition.

Sounds crazy given his numbers but he does he have a test match technique Does he have a relative born in England, made for bazball... Don't know much about his background but can't imagine he's been able to play much red ball cricket, even growing up.

Sometimes players can become the opposite when they become managers, of all our players in the last 10 years Kasper is the one I can see going into management.

I have a fear that the more I see of Vardy and his life over the next few years, documentaries and TV shows etc...I will start to like him less I'd rather he retires into the sunset.

He had his limitations which is probably why he never went further than us - but he's made the most of his career and has great achievements. Was a crucial part of a brilliant period for us and it's a shame he's had to end due to an injury. He is a bit under-appreciated compared to Vardy, Mahrez and Kante but I think history will be kind to him when we look back.

Are we scouting for next season?

Went to Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington on Sunday. Saw full sets of Royston Club and DMA's who were great. Set clashes meant I saw bits of The Fratellis, Luvcat, Blossoms and Jamie Webster. Spent a fortune on weak cans of Amstel but overall a good day. Stunning weather.

Europa League already looking a bit stronger next year with some of the names in it.
