  1. Having only just seen the red card, I gey rules are rules but that's ridiculous. Just get on with it.
  2. Dewsbury-Hall can use his right foot after all
  3. Can't get my head around the fact it was meant to be day 4 today In the grand scheme of things, a 2-day match in Canberra is no preparation for a test match in Brisbane against Mitchell Starc. However it's another bad look for this squad. They'd just go, bat once and get caught anyway.
  4. The subs and the pictures of thos nit playing show how much Arsenal have spent to build this squad.
  5. Just waiting for the needless Romero red card now.
  6. We probably enquired at that time but he's about as London as they come. Would've took some convincing.
  7. One of the very few likeable Arsenal players Eze, such a classy finish.
  8. Liverpool will be asking why that's not offside though? Standing in front of the keeper.
  9. So poor from Spurs. How's he got his shot away.
  10. If anything, they will point to Travis Head and say its the way to go. It just has to come off for a couple of them or they look stupid.
  11. I have defended the approach in the past, and Travis Head shown that if done rightly and it comes off there is nothing wrong with it. The ironic thing for me is that they talk about bazball being them backing themselves but it actually shows the opposite. It shows that they don't back themselves to have the skills or ability to bat long periods and play 'traditionally', that they must score quickly because they will get out anyway. I'm not against it, and we've been shit in Australia in many ways and styles but its almost impossible for it to consistently come off. The bowlers coming out in the first innings and not even trying to stick around and then the middle order today just have to let it calm down a bit. The more chaotic it gets the worse they become.
  12. Will test the patience of them England fans, having the aussies celebrating in front of them At least I haven't wasted my Saturday watching it. Now on to the football to ruin it instead.
  13. All they had to do was see through until tea and then cash in and bat them out the game. Maybe not quite as simple as that but the Root and Brook dismissals were poor. Effectively 100-1 to almost a 9 wicket defeat in the space of a few hours is some going. Head has played very well but Starc would've got him out because he'd have tried to hit the stumps once or twice.
  14. Travis Head could be a great choice, if he gets off to a start he could win this for them. Equally he will give you a chance.
  15. You'd expect Australia to win this but 200 seems a lot with the way this match has gone. Whatever happens its been a pathetic attempt from the batsmen.
  16. Every time Archer comes to the crease people say he can bat but he's looked a number 11 for a long time.
  17. That was the chance to get on top and Carse has given it away. He's been out or 4 since he got to the crease. Crucial partnership maybe but could've been more.
  18. Have they not benefitted from USA, Mexico and Canada all qualifying automatically too?
  19. Carse was more expensive than the others to begin with but got the big wicket. Good hands in the field too.
  20. I'm just hoping we are still batting when I wake up around 6am tomorrow morning Get the last wicket, then bat all day tomorrow and we'd be in a match winning position.
  21. It's brilliant to watch but also at the same time not good news for long term test cricket Shouldn't be having 19 wickets on the first day of a test, and it's not like its been unplayable. Quality pace bowling but no desire to survive. However England's positive scoring rate is proving to be the difference.
  22. Ok, the lower order could have at least tried to stick it out a bit but top order got some good balls or were a bit unlucky. On another day Pope gets the not out and survives, and ironically Brook gets out by trying not to play the short ball. Crawley has the great quality of finding the edge, Smith played the exact same shot a number of times and missed it every time.
  23. Can work both ways though, and they get out to a good ball and they haven't moved the scoreboard on. That's what England will be hoping anyway. Bit of luck involved too with the amount of missed edges but bowlers need to be wary that despite it looking good, you have to be full enough to get the edge.
  24. Although Smith nearly did give it away then Need to get him while he's all over the place.
  25. Difference here is you'd imagine they won't throw it away, you have to get them out with a good ball. Archer and Atkinson have started excellently though.
