Surely not even Stokes can bowl first with this forecast Especially when Woakes and Carse need the extra rest Nailed on for India to win the toss this time. -
I was initially impressed with his QPR record, was he manager when Winks scored the winner there? Thought they were decent that day and we were lucky. There were some talk about them being dark horses this time last season but didn't materialise.

How to say you don't have a clue without saying you don't have a clue

He's got a funky name, that'll do.

There's a chance Wilder gets us promoted, wouldn't be happy with him but he does have it in his locker. O'Neill is a manager that blames everyone else, can't stand managers like that. But he is a classic less inspiring choice because he's English, what's Rohl achieved that O'Neill, Cooper, Wilder etc haven't? However I say that whilst still preferring the more 'adventurous' choice in Rohl.

You can never trust transfer fees these days. So much dodgy business going on. Newcastle spent £20m on a reserve keeper from Forest -
Don't understand why anyone would want to extend their contract at Sheffield Wednesday at the minute.

Genuinely would've been happier just to keep Ruud and give him a go at turning around.

It took my far too long to realise it was Gary O'Neil being talked about It is Gary isn't it?....

So agent already trying to get more money after a couple of goals in training ground exercise -
It's a choice I never hoped to make but I'd go Dyche instead of Wilder

Bashir is like me when I was 14 and made up the numbers for my dad's Sunday team. Patronising claps from the teammates whenever I did something decent. Except I wasn't in there to bowl the opposition out. Would be a risk to play Archer and Atkinson. Woakes has a great record at Lords but surely needs the rest. if Woakes and Carse don't play you need to think how long the tail will be (granted it wasn't much use in the first innings in this test) Wouldn't be surprised if Jamie Overton plays. May as well play 5 seamers and use Root has your spinner. -

Broad and Anderson? It's a gamble to prepare pitches like that because India are more of a threat and our batters have been woeful against a moving ball. -

Feel like England's recent record at Lords has been awful too. -

Fair play to India, deserved victory. Apart from one incredible partnership its been a poor effort by England. You can baz ball all you want but you can't keep letting the opposition score heavily and expect to chase it down. We only win this series if we find a way if being more of a threat with the ball. -

At least we can't be accused of being reckless anyway (Crawley apart) Still a long time to bat. -

Don't recall too many complaining about bowling first on Wednesday morning. Flat deck yes, but conditions looked friendly and Woakes was as dangerous as he's been. Both have been good tosses to lose really. -

Akash has got this pitch doing things noone else has. Not much Brook can do about movement like that. Akash is another one with an unlikeable face, especially when he's taking wickets -

This is the risk India took by batting on yesterday. If they manage to get on for 2 sessions you'd imagine they will get the wickets, particularly in gloomy conditions but they will be sweating. -
Bronze got in the way by rushing back.

Tackle wasn't a foul but thought she was being held first.

Right winger for France has been great. Compared to our wingers who have offered nothing.

Who opens? Smith will probably at some point but then you have to give the gloves to Pope, who then can't bat at 3. -

Fair play to the umpire not giving that, would've been easy to assume he'd hit given the appeals.
