  1. Just can't help himself for longer than one over. He sees Duckett get a couple away and he has to join in. Awful first over from Siraj and you've gift him a wicket. Might sound crazy but I think he's too tall to be an opener.
  2. I think India will win comfortably. Too many physically and mentally tired players to bat this out I think. They'll be plenty of space to score as India will have lots of close catchers.
  3. How have they not declared at that point. I imagine they will win but they are going to look really silly if they don't.
  4. They would've declared if Gill got out. Stat padding at the minute when England aren't even trying to get them out.
  5. Bet there are loads of Indian batsmen of the past wishing the pitches were this flat when they toured.
  6. Really don't understand what India are doing here.
  7. India will bat until tea and then assess where they are. If England chase down 500 then you just have to say fair play. But you can't be in a position where you don't have enough time to get 10 wickets.
  8. Need someone in place before they go to Austria. We either want Rohl or we don't, can't be faffing around for weeks.
  9. Can't get carried away but youngsters doing well always brings a bit of positivity around the place. I really hope we can find the balance of signing some more experienced and giving these youngsters a chance.
  10. Who is playing centre back with Coady this half?
  11. When we bat we will see if we are a serious side now or whether we just play for a laugh. Stokes hates draws, but a draw will feel like a win from here. Especially when 1 nil up in the series.
  12. Stokes guilty of trying to be too clever with his field. Traditional test match field and a few would've gone straight into hands.
  13. No doubt the likes of Cartwright and Golding will be making up the numbers while we give Soumare 45 minutes.
  14. At least its an opportunity for the youngsters. Plenty of league 1 and 2 clubs looking for a decent loan.
  15. Can't believe how quickly the funeral is happening. Obviously they were great friends but Neves has made it there after playing in the US last night.
  16. Sometimes opponent is just better and that's it. Shame for Raducano but she gave a good account of herself. I don't watch a lot of women's tennis but it felt one of the more competitive ones.
  17. Amazing how many times the top player win games at that point of a set.
  18. Whatever happens you can't argue Raducano hadn't competed. Shame she hasn't been able to follow up any breaks by winning her own serve. Tough to face number 1 because i think she goes deep against most on this form
  19. India need a really poor second innings for England to win this one. Great effort from Brook and Smith but not enough support.
  20. Agreed, and we have to accept that it goes wrong some times. It only takes a couple of players to come off and you'll always get a competitive score. Preferably not after the opposition have hit 500 though..
  21. This side is great, one minute its 80 odd for 5 and then you look again a bit later and they're on 230
  22. Love a good counter attack by a wicket-keeper batsmen. You feel its inevitable he gets one wrong at some point, it's just how many he can get before then. It's very unlikely England can turn this particular test match around and its mad to suggest they have any chance.
  23. Pope got his hundred to boost his average and now back to single figure scores. India shown it was struggle early on but get through that and its comfortable.
  24. Bowlers aren't great but it's a tough job. Back to back roads of a wicket, long overs for the same bowlers. Woakes biggest threat is at the beginning, when to be fair, on another day he'd have had 3 and we might've been looking at different innings. Actually quite like Carse, but he's clearly struggling now. He's a 3rd seamer rather than you're main two though. Tongue hasn't even remotely looked like getting anyone decent out. Then you have Bashir who doesn't offer any threat, although admittedly on a non-friendly pitch. Going to have to hope the batters can respond.
  25. My god, the picture on BBC on his wedding day, with his 3 young kids really hit me
