Hermansen has always been susceptible to a long range effort like that. It was tried numerous times last season but no-one has been good enough to pull it off. Whilst he's not been super-human since his injury I think it's harsh to say he's been that bad. He has credit in the bank to give him benefit of doubt, but it could scupper a move for him.

Always funny to take a read of the first few pages of a new manager thread when it's clearly gone wrong There was plenty of opportunities to sympathise with Ruud, and initially I did, given he has had no say on this squad and no opportunities to improve it but you can't be this shit. Squad is rubbish, no doubt about that, and we were always going down unless a manager did a brilliant job, but to do it without showing even a remote of promise is incredible. To not even try. He really should have quit after the window closed, he knew has was on a hiding to nothing after that point and has probably chucked his managerial career down the drain.

Jeez, my post wasn't really meant to be an criticism of him in any way. It was more pointing out that its a sign of where we are that we desperate for a 15 year old to be involved.

Anyone expecting him to come on and provide miracles is desperate. The whole call for him to play is just desperation in my opinion. I hope he can remain a positive player in this environment.
