6 Games Left! - We are top with a game in hand!
Foxdiamond replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
All the agony eh. We must all be a bit nutty. Mind just harking back to 2016 what a superb example of fortitude that side was forged in 2013, 2014 and 2015 -
Don't do it to yourself. Enjoy the table till our next game.

Leicester 2-1 Birmingham POST MATCH.

Feeling a lot better now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend all. I think we all need a nice drink -
Wait for the puck jokes

And betrayed his colleagues giving personal numbers. Should be sacked

Even Spurs fans in their mid 20s will have difficulty remembering winning anything. The previous generations almost expected Cup wins or Uefa Cups. Now 4th spot is the target without managing to actually win anything.
-
This is why I suggested the box ticking exercise to include Rosenior.
-
Agree must be a snub to not include Enzo. Don't have a problem should McKenna win. As for Rosenior smacks of desperate to nominate a manager who ticks certain boxes despite not in the promotion spots.

Should There Be Play-offs in the Football League?
Foxdiamond replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Play offs were brought in to maintain interest for clubs further into the season. If you had a breakaway top 3 a lot of teams nothing to play for if not in relegation fight. So will vote to keep. -
Despite kick in the guts part one and part two it ain't over yet. Considering we won today a rather flat feeling this evening. Have to take it on the chin and hopefully we can get an auto spot at the end. Just don't look at the table till at least Saturday

Football does seem to be a sport where luck features more than others. Is that true or am I just fed up with Ipswich?
-
Hate relying on other teams and expect Hull to go missing tonight. We have to do our own dirty work.

Nice to have that emotion back

My self preservation kicks in at times like this. A sort of numbness to kill the pain and frustration.

Feeling of decline. Turned full circle from 2014 to spend years below top division

They are without shame and the pathetic platitudes these water companies come out with is insulting
-
The continuing scandal over the pollution in our rivers.

Is that the Mark Rylance film? If so I too enjoyed it

The 1958 Dunkirk film with John Mills is I think better than the 2017 version

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Foxdiamond replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The wages and the fees are a key problem. To think Leicester were able to break the transfer record when buying and then selling Allan Clarke would be unthinkable for a club of our size now. The wages for a team sport are way out of line and needs a cap. -

That Spurs fan has swallowed the Levy propaganda whole -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Foxdiamond replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
This has lead to the nonsense that teams like Spurs have not won anything since 2008. Their fans desperate but their board saying it is more important to finish 4th in League as opposed to winning FA Cup etc. Football losing its soul. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Foxdiamond replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
That football has already consumed itself is correct and probably the most depressing realisation. Even the nonsense that replica kits sell for mad prices and fans feel they should still pay knowing what a rip off it all is. I've said before that players deserve good wages but again it is to the detriment of the game the vast sums seeping out of clubs. Look past the veneer of glamour of elite football and it is all a sham and rather seedy. -
Apparently MGM tried to destroy all prints of the original and denied its existence but the director of the original had a copy so the film survived

The original British film Gaslight from 1940 was better than the famous 1944 Hollywood version in my opinion
