Because the set up is loaded and corrupt
-
Even if they are useless

I agree. That our club is in the mire obviously concerns us and the way we are run has resulted in a very hostile attitude towards the owners. Two wrongs don't make a right but the way football is run by the various authorities leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Their own rules have been proved not to be worthy of examination. Sometimes the law is an ass and needs throwing out.

I can understand why Sinatra got fed up with My Way when you consider all the other songs he record.
-
I wonder if that is a Tom Eckersley illustration

Brooklyn at that time. Neil Sedaka and Neil Diamond both attended Abraham Lincoln School and Diamond later followed Sedaka into writing at The Brill Building. Diamond was also at Erasmus School and in the same choir as a young B Streisand. Elton John has gone on record as thanking Neil Diamond for introducing him before his famous set at Doug Weston's Troubadour which ignited his US career. Of course one of Diamond's early compositions that helped his career was I'm a believer for The Monkees.

Yes the idiots completely ignore the fact that councils have divert money from other areas to clean up the rubbish
-
I agree. Extends to the attitude about not caring about litter, fly tipping etc
-
That is probably correct imo. Thing is a lot of working class people lived in council houses/flats and took pride in their home even if they didn't own it. I know folk who live in council homes now and look after it as they should. Unfortunately there are others that don't.

Yes. Good way to cut down on plastic waste by using reusable glass bottles
-
This was working class pride in action. People didn't have much but keeping the front step spotless was imperative

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff

This bloke was the brother of Thomas Stanley stepfather of Henry Tudor who became King after Bosworth and was present at the battle too. It was his son George that was held hostage by Richard the Third in what proved to be a vain hope to influence what side the Stanley's would fight for -
It is so short sighted to cut youth services
-
Agreed. Some people want to change government's or PM quicker than football managers. Absolutely potty.

Under that basis Rob Kelly. For an actual decent period of time then Matt G.
-
Which is not very long
-
Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

The Outfit and Tender Mercies. Very different films but Robert Duvall brilliant in both -
Long term would have been Matt Gilles putting aside Rob Kelly and Frank McLintock who didn't last very long
-
Time will tell. Not against Rowett but wish the decision was made at least 2 weeks ago. I wish him all the best.
-
I sincerely hope it doesn't come to this but anyway. Not keen of Fosse as part of the name. If not Leicester City perhaps and please don't have an attack of the vapors what about Leicester County to incorporate the whole county in the name?

Really enjoyed the sliding events. Perhaps GB is good at going downhill fast

Actually I agree with you I was just being a bit pedantic but wanted to be correct. A bit like if someone said we beat Chelsea 2-1 rather than 1-0 to win the cup in 2021. I suppose our historical relationship of the public view of the US would be so different if English was not our shared language. Only have to think of music, film and tv. I've certainly enjoyed some French things too but of course unless a French speaker you have to put in a bit more effort. As for alliance with France I wonder if many of our people know we were on the same side when involved the the Crimean War. Of course the Entente of later in 1904 improved relations further though not sure Germany enjoyed the prospect.

Don't let a fact get in way eh

They fought like hell against an enormous German army
