My feelings about smoking is from just personal experience is that people start as children and not as responsible adults. Anything that prevents that is good

Brilliant -
I was listening to a radio debate today about Starmer. One bloke didn't like Labour because they were taking away the choice of his children to decide to smoke
-
Perhaps those fools would prefer a return to the smog days
-
I'm not a fan of Starmer and the Mandelson issue was not good but the impatient want to chop and change PM less than 2 years since winning a landslide is ridiculous. Labour should focus on getting their message across and pushing through. Back in 1981 Thatcher was extremely unpopular 2 years after winning power. Somehow she gained popularity after the Falklands. Imagine if the Tories had turfed her out in 81.

We had a few players out with injury I seem to recall by that stage -

On the anniversary of winning the cup I think we can allow ourselves to put the current state of the club aside just to wallow in the memory of that goal and the win -

Agree about covid attendance restriction but thankful it was not the year before when Wembley was completely without fans -

Naturally I would have loved us to win both the cup and qualify for CL. No way would I swap the cup win for anything. Whatever came after getting the monkey off our back to finally win the FA Cup was fantastic. Losing 4 finals was bad enough but 5 unthinkable if you are an older fan with knowledge of our history or history of the cup. -
I've seen Stevenage a few times when going with my grandson. They aren't a free flowing side but very gritty and hard working. Rather typical of the division I think.
-
I would guess Burnham will also be more popular among voters that get annoyed about the London bias
-
Yep quite simple. Blue with white trim end of
-
What do we think of Caballero ?
-
My grandson supports Stevenage. Absolutely nuts we having to face them in League football next season. Stevenage certainly punching above their weight in League One. Not sure if Revell can step up with greater expectation with us
-
Yes as youth I remember a certain interest in the talent and charms of Ms Dickinson.
-
Really hope Hearts can get at least a point to clinch the title
-
The Motherwell defender did not gain any advantage as his hand was directly in front of his forehead and the elbow was only at that angle because the Celtic player jumped into him. Very smelly decision to give a penalty
-
Hearts definitely on the end of two dodgy penalty decisions both involved Motherwell benefitting Celtic
-
A good description of exploitation?
-
Ah I see now that all our opponents spied on us for the last two seasons. Had to be another reason why we got relegated twice. Actually quite relieved we are not involved in this scandal before a big final
-
So presumably people coming here have a degree of bigotry or does that disappear if having/choosing to leave their original homeland.
-
Agreed. I too never liked or voted for Thatcher but everyone knew where they stood with her. That made it even more galling that she was in power so long. Of course 1990 was a long time ago and it seems conviction politics is a thing of the past

Loud journalists shouting out questions to politicians etc when they know full well there will not be a reply. All about them and the febrile atmosphere they want to create
