  1. This guy deserves to be massive
  2. His face was more that he could believe they’d score off two deflections. Let’s face it Leeds didn’t massively threaten, Vesty didn’t clear for the first goal, second was freak deflections that could have gone anywhere. It’s not like we were being over run. If I were Leeds I’d be worried defensively. We cut them open just couldn’t finish.
  3. The difference between fans and the squad. We refer back to games where we’ve been ahead and lost, players just play the next game in the moment. I’m pretty sure they weren’t thinking “we’ll bottle this”, they’re too caught up in the moment. It happens, maybe too often. The players aren’t thinking beyond QPR. We played some decent cracking football last night let’s not forget that. As loud as Leeds fans were from the equaliser onwards, they were very quiet up to that point. The way they defended it’s not going to be a cake walk for them, they’re just as vulnerable as us.
  4. All the pressure is on them, at home, big crowd etc. We win, 12 points clear, draw 10 points clear. If they have aspirations of winning this league, they need a win. Even then we’re 6 points clear of them. All this “free hit” rubbish on their forums is laughable.
  5. Wout Wout, let it all out He’s just a man we can’t do without come on I’m talking to you, come on to the “Shout” Tears for Fears tune
  6. Explosive from Cannon…..has he got a short fuse though ?
  7. Anyone know how many goals we’ve conceded by messing around at the back, ball taken off us and oppo has scored ? I doubt there’s many that have led to a goal.
  8. Easier said than done though, when players are tired, you can see the clock and that option of keeping possession is “open”. The ones that get me are the unnecessary passes after 3 or 4, you can belt it forward or hit it long but sometimes we go one more pass and all of a sudden we’re up sh1t creek without a paddle. Having said that, we’re top, so can’t grumble too much.
  9. Over familiar news readers/weather presenters. Read the news, tell us what the weather is doing, then do one. You don't have to have a giggly little conversation filler at the end of the item. "So, it's colder than usual for this time of year....back to you Steve, make sure you wrap up warm, buy yourself a coat, treat yourself, what are you up to this weekend ?" No no no.

Yeah thanks BS….was in Richer Sounds last week and they tested out some speakers with a turntable in their sound proof room. I’m like Libertine, I’ve had a Sony basic turntable with built in speaker for a year and now I’m upgrading.

Just got the Rega Planar 1 plus delivered today, looks amazing and still confused. I thought the fact that it has a pre-amp means you can connect to active speakers without the need for a separate amp ? It’s not that clear !
  13. Penalty that
  14. Wow off the post
  15. Oh here we go - Huddersfield v Reading ffs
  16. Never a pen….Jacks furious
  17. Yeah agreed, maybe average is too strong. I still don't consider him one of the all-time great drivers though - certainly not yet.

    Vinyl

I've been getting back into the vinyl. A heartbreaker, but I sold all of my vinyl in a job lot back in 1986, just before joining the Royal Navy - it pains me to think what I had, most of the Smiths 12" singles and some really decent stuff - anyway, it went !! Looking to upgrade to a decent turntable and the Rega Planar 1 plus looks both affordable and decent. Stupid question....do I need an amp/speakers with this or is it built in ?
  19. Not really. Clearly there's more to just getting in the car and pointing it forwards, but it's a lot easier when you're in a super fast car that is streets ahead of everyone else - and you're pretty much on the front row of the grid every week. For me anyway, Hamilton is the best driver in F1, who, with a car that has been hit and miss for a few years, he still gets the best out of it, despite the issues. And he also did it when Mercedes had the edge over the rest.
  20. ITV ....I'm obviously paying attention to it !!
  21. Funny how Nella has changed her tune, talking to Fred, eating his food etc after he "disrespected" her and she vowed to stay over her side of the camp etc - almost as if the BBC saw the drop in viewing figures and staged it.
  22. Would show up Verstappen for what he is - an average driver in an excellent car. Lewis wouldn't want to play second fiddle either - would be interesting to see mind.
