What we are currently seeing from Fatawu is completely different. I've seen him argue with several players over the last few weeks and his decision making and crossing is pathetic.

They didn't. El Khannous was one of a few shining lights last season and massively enjoyed playing with Vardy. El Khannous issue happened when he wanted out. Fatawu has massive issues on the pitch right now and appears to be doing nothing to improve himself.

So. We sack Marti an it’s clear to anyone with a football brain where a lot of a problems are. Rowett turns up to work with Top in the office. Do you think Riccy puts his hand up and says ‘I think now is the time to switch this up and think differently about this?’ He’s as complicit as any of the bad eggs and sticking to this. He would have had his opportunity to influence change.

Cooper was probably the last 'proper' manager we signed. And even that was a dodgy appointment for a variety of reasons. Lots of what i heard about his handling at Forest in the PL showed a very week character. Ruud was a star who fancied a go, but even Man U knew he wasnt up to it. Marti was I chancer who a genuinly think tried hard, but his QPR record raised alarm bells and there was nothing else of any substance. King isn't a manager and Rowett is a disgrace to Football. This team NEEDED a good manager. Not someone who was in bed with the Man City obsession, but a good man manager who could tactically adjust and get the best out of this lot. I was against a few that probably we should have gone for. Its very annoying to know we actually interviewed Wilder but in the PL there were others we could have secured historically. Sadly, we've actually employed people in these roles who simply aren't good enough. I don't buy for one minute that no one could have done this.

You know what - i laugh at this. But dump Rowett and go Rogue - anything is possible. Go out all attack and try to score 3 each game and just cling on. Just go crazy. I'd rather do that than have 1 draw and 2 defeats in out last 3 scoring 1 goal.

Then we should have kept Marti - who had a much better record, even in his his last 6 games and much better record in his last 10.

This chap is often mentioned as a 'nice bloke'. I met him a few times after games in the Enzo system - seemed nice, although a bit weird. But, as Captain, is he more complicit in this that i first thought? As one of the 'senior players', he was sidelined by Cooper and many of us (myself included) were a bit bemused by this. But Riccy is part of the furniture here, and one of Tops last 'golden generation' signings. Once Cooper was gone, Riccy was much more back in the picture and no and behold pretty much undroppable whilst we play this 'system'. Makes me think he's a big part of why we still play it.

Our one goal in 3 games is against Sheffield Wednesday. Its not an argument anymore. You would have had to bin of those who didnt want part of it, but thats easy. Thats Winks, Riccy, Vestergaard and mostly likely at least 1 of the wingers (i think Fatawu is part of the problem here too). With the personel we had at our disposal (remember that we had Aluko, Aribo, Page, Monga, James, Skipp and arguably Ayew is better when not playing up top). Plenty of personnel to have tried it. I do not buy for one minute this wasnt possible and we couldnt have given it a run of games.

You do what other championship teams do. Pack the midfield and go 3 at the back. He had the personnel to do this especially before Nelson and Okoli's injuries, but carried on the obsession with playing out the back, having the metronome (winks) dictate the pace but achieve nothing, using a 'flair' 10 and depend on our wingers for a moment of magic. EVERY time you suggested something different on this forum you got accused of coming up with a horrible line up, yet we are where we are with the supposed 'good' version of the line up. Also, some of those draws were against teams really struggling for form. They aren't bits of hope to cling on to. Stoke were on a horrible run when we played them.

Yes the defence is honking, but this point about Rowett making us more difficult to beat us made up crap to make us all feel better. The teams we got points against were all ones struggling for form. Others, like QPR, Swansea and Portsmouth all got past us with relative ease. He's not made us harder to beat at all - we are easy to beat as long as you play to our weaknesses. He's had very, very winnable games and he has blown it. And this is all down the the formation. Team know exactly what to do because we have been doing the same thing for about 80 games now. We were worked out 2nd half of Enzo season but we still had a possessed KDH and Vardy to help get us through that. Its criminal that in 11 games, Rowett has pandered to the same formation. At the start of his tenure, he had more defenders and time on his hands to do something different, but the approach was taken that everything we were doing was right - we might just have needed a different bloke to fix it. How the heck we could have found a worse manager than the previous ones i do not know, but its a real skill. Just a reminder this is the 6 game form guide of the team he made 'harder to beat' ( and remember one of those draws was Sheffield Weds who were winning for most of the game!!!!) And the 10 game for guide (as we know his first result was a draw, which isnt on here) If this was the first 11 games of the season, we would be calling this for what it is and he would be gone. Joke. It is far, far worse than when Marti was here.

I got pelted for this a while ago. He has ZERO football brain and is thick as they come. He's mad as a box of frogs, which is great when the team is good and you have senior players who can work with him. When you need to rely on him, no chance. At some point in the next few seasons he will hit a few bangers in a row, and we will all cry about what could have been. But I bet where ever he ends up, the story kind of ends the same way.
