I imagine there is, but i strongly doubt he has something that reduces his salary by 90% if we a relegated to L1. I would put money on whatever relegation clause he has, is still at least 2x what anyone would be willing to pay him in the Championship.

During the warmup they play 'tunes from the dressing room' where players request their own songs. Its stuff like Drake and none of it is the sort of music to get you going. From slow beat / bass heavy. Started it last season if i recall.

Not at all. We have no reason to believe that the relegation clauses bring them in line with the wage they could get at another club. It is conjecture. But assume Winks is currently on £50k a week (i think likely around that sort of number), and his relegation clause is 25% reduction. The resulting number is still way higher than what a championship club is going to give him (apart from Spurs - but doubt he goes there). I cannot believe these guys are on 75% relegation clauses?

Vestergaard and Winks have no international aspirations anymore, and are big earners and both have 1 more year left. Are they going to leave and take a big pay cut, or fleece us for 1 year? As someone else said, the club might be forced to loan them with the loaning club only paying maybe 30% of their wages, just to get that 30% off the books. So you are paying 70% of their salary and you dont even have the player! Thinking these big earners are just going to go because they want to play football somewhere - not convinced. They can play hard ball for at least the first 6 months until the January window and we have no power at all. That contract for Vestergaard was utterly pathetic.
