  1. Me and my son joke that Mavi must look at Vic in the dressing room and think 'who the hell is that guy, why does noone introduce me to him'.
  2. Might be wrong but wasn't it reported that Mads was his recommendation, especially as a ball playing keeper was fundamental to the strategy (and Iversen doesn't actually have feet). I think i remember is being reported that he didn't know who Fatawu was.
  3. I was at the game, and was gobbed smacked when that happened. Rewatching it, its worse than i remember. You've actually ruined my day.
  4. Well, he is 1 point from top 4 and plays Southampton tonight. Chelsea have struggled lately and Palmers form has dropped, but they are still in a shout for a top 4 spot.
  5. We said the same things when John Terry joined, and we even had Cags and Evans back then. Nowt that can be done with this lot im afraid.
  6. Surely Ruud would have just overruled them?
  7. Do we get to sing 'Straight back up' again. Those days were fun.
  8. Ah, that expains why we are ****ng awesome these days.
  9. The sad thing is, we aren't good enough. Ruud is right. The other sad thing is that, as sh1te as he was, Cooper had this right when he was picking 3 defensive midfielders + Facundo. We looked awful, but the negativity kept us in games. We also had the joy of a period when Facundo was flying and Vardy was able to feed of this as well, and Mads was playing like a superhero. But at the time, many (including I) hated the negative team selection and the fact that we were scoring more than our XG but it was likely the only way of getting something out of us. I still think we would be bottom 3 if Cooper was still here though.
  10. Knowing us, we sh1t house a win here just to prolong the agony.
  11. Much more money and less PSR constraints. Rodgers may have got his refresh, which although at the time felt like a massive excuse, was needed.
  12. I wonder of the board will come to this conclusion now, especially as Man City have had a bad year and Enzo has hit a similar wall to ours last season. None of the challenger teams (by these i mean Brentford, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Forest etc) play what we were trying to achieve. We need pace, physicality and to do the basics right. Watching Brentford get every long cross almost perfectly right and we couldn't find anyone to cross the ball to was depressing. I don't think anyone will achieve anything trying to replicate Pep, and i think PL football has already left that idea behind.
  13. Confession time. This is my first away day. Bought the ticket the other week after i convinced myself we were going to turn over Brentford and that this fixture was going to go the same way as Ruuds first game. Will be in London overnight with work anyway but now i think there are lots of other things i could be doing that are much more interesting. Just to make @Pliskin happy i might by a prawn sandwich on the way to Stratford.
  14. I presume Woyo came off because he was a red card waiting to happen.
  15. Its because hes not played for a few games. When Okoli hadn't played for a few everyone was ranting as to why he hadn't been picked. Played like sh*t against Brentford and everyone wants him gone.
  16. Especially as he now has premier league experience šŸ™
  17. Where?
  18. Mavadidi was terrible when he came on. Its not a case of one being better than the other.
  19. See my previous post on this. If you are Dyche why would you take a 10/11 game deal? He's not stupid. Reason why Dean took it is because noone else would have him.
  20. The seagrave spa and grill is the home of champions.
  21. Dyche isn’t an idiot. I don’t see a situation where he takes a short term deal till the end of the season. He will want his 2 or 3 year contract and knows if he waits long enough one of those will turn up. The pool of managers who will take a 10 game deal (assuming we pull the trigger it would take 2-3 games for us to get something sorted) is really small.
  22. Because Vardy has shown all the attributes to be a great manager.
