2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
Chelmofox replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
They will be playing long game. As someone else said, they likely just want rid of the card system which incurs system and staff costs. It’s not just about the cost of the card. None of us know if it’s a cost effective system or a complete nightmare. But they can’t really do it now and need more take up on digital. The charge is a way of accelerating. They will probably have a goal of removing cards in 3 years or so. -
Consistency is not Hamzas strong point. Riccy for this game.

He stunk at that role last 2 seasons. We don’t miss him in the position, we missed Wilf being able to play it. We play 3 at the back, and don’t need Wilf in his old role. The reason why its worked with him in attacking positions is because he’s been able to win the ball high up the field. Right now he’s not fit. Spent most of Saturday conserving energy. Fitness isn’t going to magically solve itself if he goes back to a defensive midfield role. -
Who said that?

It’s straight forward to lose points 3 games in a row in this league. We still find ourselves 4 points ahead of Leeds. Most disappointing thing for me is not converting some of these losses into draws.
-
Calling out the support of the VAR official on the official club twitter account is pathetic.
-
Oooh you tough b@stard.
-
Because the poor form came at different stages of the season.
-
For the sake of balance, Burley are currently 9th in the 6 game form table. Sure they just played Sheff Utd but you've still got to get games like that over the line. They are showing signs of clicking, when Luton can't get a sniff of a result all of a sudden. It's still highly likely Burnley go down, but part of me feels that of all of the promoted teams they are the only one with any momentum right now.
-
We talked about losing points, but we are still 4 points ahead of Leeds and 7 ahead of Southampton. Mad when you think about it.
-
You never know when an injury to someone is going to happen right?
-
Interesting that people think Riccy will play the midfield role. Could be the reason why Ndidi played the whole game even though we was shattered.
-
It's an odd one really. You could see how he was forcing his leadership influence on everyone, from at the warmup where he was shouting at the rest of the team and in the game. When Vardy scored he went straight over to Fatawu. It clearly makes a difference, even if it looked like he was getting players nerves at times. But i don't think he's any good. He got done for pace a few times and you could see how slow he is. I don't really know how Enzo plays it from here. If he keeps him in I don't think he can do the Coady/Vesty/Faes thing again. I actually think Vestergaard is the one who should be dropped.
-
Why don’t you make your mind up by listening to what Enzo says rather than 3rd hand Guillaume info. If people didn’t give Guillaume clicks and airtime (and I include a certain podcast in that which was firmly up his backside at the time), then he would simply drift away. Enzos not an idiot, he would have known he wasn’t going to be able to buy Grealish and Silva. He might have thought that he might be able to make some smart signings and not have points deductions mind you…..
-
What year did he get sacked as manager of forest?
-
He would always get booked for his first one. I presume they think it’s a risky tactic right now.
-
Fair play to the young kid near us who belted out ‘Leicester boys are we’ louder than everyone in H1. Put a huge smile on our faces. Just watched the extended highlights and didn’t appreciate at the time how loud it got at the end. We can do it!
-
Been a cliche this season, but if he missed that pen and the sitter from Mavi’s cross, can you imagine the shite he would get. Never scoring that header mind you.
-
Hamza gonna take pelters for that unfortunately. But he is bang on. Last 10 mins of the game, 2-1 up, Vardy looks knackered and need to see out the game. Boo the replacement who is bang out of form but has made goal contributions that helped us get to where we were this season. Bell ends.
-
He plays the dirty side of the game well. Its when you might need him to be technically good you start to see some holes. Delighted for him today - was MOM for me.
-
Riccy is still better at the role. Hamza very likely won't put the same performance in on Tuesday.
-
I really don't want to write 'i cant see Leicester messing it up from here'. I really just can't do it.
-
At this stage is anyone any good? As everyone seems to point out (unless they feel the need to pick holes) its getting the results that matter. A few days ago everyone talking about how great Southampton were but i watched their 2nd half and thought they were rubbish. Maybe Leeds turn up on Monday and look brilliant - but they looked terrible in their last few as well.
-
We should have been nowhere near relegation in the first place! For a while our attackers were banging in goals galore just to stay in games and scored as many as a top 10 side, but conceded 68 goals. The 'point' is not material in how we structured and played. We had huge flaws with our shape and defensive system.
-
Its just we come away from a Plymouth game with 70% possession and about 3 times as many shots and an XG that shows we should have at least scored 1, but everything is sh1t and the stats are irrelevant. Have a game where our stats are slightly worse but the XG is almost identical, and we have goal line heroics and still take out chances and still miss a penalty - then we are lucky. Today we won because we had the better players and i think the crowd actually played a part too. Not sure why all the lucky shite needs to be banded about.
