  2. A 40 million post Covid allowance coming their way. Tough for them really, as many fans still not wanting to travel from London in the post Covid era. Poor Man U.
  3. He hates the club and didnt want to put the effort in and prepare for training properly. And just makes signs saying how much he misses Enzo. Its not 'for some reason'. Now he sips cocktails on matchday.
  4. You are comparing all the wrong things. Monga is (rightly) tipped to be a major superstar. Kasey isn't and never has been. But, Kasey has more first team goal contributions than Monga does, but surely all of us appreciate that Monga has the much higher ceiling. After returning from injury, Ndidi was pretty useless in the Championship. Does that mean every he did before hand should be disregarded because he barely made an impact?
  5. We are a very secretive club. I think this is doing 1+1 and getting 3. I personally doubt any negative reaction factored into any decisions and was just used by reporters who know very little to juice the story up a little. If Top wants Martin (and lets be honest, Top has form with this sort of appointment), then a few of us calling him Brussel isn't going to change his mind.
  6. Again - this is unfair. He started that Championship season very well and it was his first spell in the team, so he was stepping up. He got some goal contributions, but was always going to play 2nd fiddle to Mavadidi and Fatawu. After an injury, he returned to a team struggling. He wasn't impactful during that period but neither were many of our players. Comments like 'false dawn' are counter productive. He is an academy graduate who became a squad option that can fulfil several roles if needed. He puts in a defensive shift as well, and in my opinion doesn't look out of place defensively in the PL. He's never going to be a superstar, nor hit the heights of someone like KDH. I doubt a PL club will bid for him. But to say he's not going to be an option for us next season is wrong. If we keep Mavadidi and Fatawu and Kasey is still utilised on the wing, then he remains a solid squad option.
  7. Yet respect would actually be letting him do the job he was employed to do, letting him build his back room staff and giving him transfer budget to bring in the players needed. Yet apparently, 'respect' is stringing him along until the bitter end and dumping him anyway, likely for Brussel bloody Martin.
  8. Danny Rhol - please please please.
  9. When did Martin do this at Southampton? Even until the bitter end his demoralised and beaten up defenders were passing aimlessly sideways at the back then getting pressed and caught out. He stuck to his guns more than ever in the PL.
  10. Don't believe it. They never, ever learn. They have their way and what they stand for. Cooper said the same. He will come here and play exactly the same setup he had at Southampton, and if we get promoted he will do exactly the same again in the PL. He might (might) have better players that can do it better. But it will be the same.
  11. Is that person @Pliskin ?
  12. I bet the day Pep complimented Brussell was the day Top said 'hes the lad for me'. Disgusting appointment.
  13. Probably gets promoted. But its a horrific way to play in the Prem when you are scraping around at the bottom. Would be lovely to have a bit of forward thinking.
  14. Ruud Van Nistelrooy, la la la la la Ruud Van Nistelrooy, la la la la la la Ruud Van Nistelrooy, la la la la la You looks like a dutchman with a beard la la
  15. Hopefully they haven't had the meeting about 'budgets for transfers' yet.
  16. Like to think the club guaged opinion before it fell apart with Jesse Marsch. So, hopefully for the love of god they are reading everyones reactions to this news. Do. Something. Different.
  17. I seriously cant believe this.
  18. Which in my opinion is bollocks. PL or EFL should do the announcement when everything has been dealt with. Doing now and then waiting an undefined period benefits no one. Deal with it all behind closed doors and just announce the punishment.
  19. Maybe i am a bit tinfoil hat about this, but i also feel that all parties are trying to draw a line under this. If (a big IF) a deduction is imposed this season and we comply with business plans etc for the EFL next season, then we have been sanctioned and everyone can move on. Of course, we might still breach the next one, but if we work with the EFL on the plan for that then at least we are seen to be doing the right things.
  20. Its silly season with a lot of this. I almost wish that everything was confidential until the points deductions had been confirmed as everyone is making lots up as they go along.
  21. Am i alone in not giving a **ck. I have the memories, the photos and when i need them the youtube clips. Rather have those than seeing Vardy Road near the stadium. For now at least. Always feel its best to give these things some time, especially when the player is moving somewhere else. I'd like to see it one day, but immediately - nah - im not fussed. I reckon i burned 1000 calories when that goal went in on sunday. Those are the moments i will cherish.
  22. Thought he looked ok in the 1 game he started. People sometimes need game time to adjust to the PL. 1 start and dumped on the bench in a foreign country. Go Leicester. Maybe there is good season for him next year. Not like he has done anything wrong.
  23. At least with Dyche there is a % of the fanbase that want him, and even though i don't want him i get why people do. Surely, no one (and i mean no one!) wants Russell Martin?
  24. Oh please **ck off.
