Say what you will but he's really got the best out of QPR this half.

The Yamal one reminded me of the one that Salah won with, where it was good but not Puskas worthy at all. Likewise, Rice's goal is fantastic but For me, I think it's between the Orrantia goal and the de la Vega one.

I guess the big complaint would be that it very easily could have been 9. But I agree, things are looking a lot better. -

Great showing, rolled over a team that spent 50m this summer. (Admittedly a big chunk of that was overpaying for Kasey) -
Great block by Skipp, he's really growing on me

How many has even taken for us now? 3? I don't remember him missing one. -
Heskey's son just scored a fantastic goal for the u18s of Man City vs the u18s of Real Madrid. Like father like son?
-
Thought he was great today. Liked that he got into it with the Derby player at the whistle, need some more of that in the squad.

I'd probably follow Hertha as I'm here and they're a likeable club, but I don't think it'd ever be the same relationship. -
Can't think of a single match last season where we held a club like Man City to a close game - beat a truly shit Spurs side at best.
-
Watching the promoted clubs this season just makes me even more angry at the wet fart that we mustered up last season.
-
It won't fix anything but just on principle he has to go.

just don't bother coming back out after half time, ****ing hell

Mavididi considering a swap to DR Congo - wonder if that will stay true if they don't win the WC play-offs.

It's 4 more. Those 16 teams will play 4 mini tournaments of 4 sides each. Edit: Just to add: there's also 2 inter-regional playoff spots up for grabs outside of UEFA. These have been pretty cut-throat to even qualify for (Nigeria and Cameroon both missed out through the first stage of the CAF part). That'll be 2 teams from: Bolivia, DR Congo, Iraq, New Caledonia and 2 CONCACAF teams which will be decided tonight. The CONCACAF qualifying is insanely tight where basically every group can be won tonight, and then only 2 of the 3 second placed teams get to go to these playoffs.
-
Could be a mad set of play-offs. On paper you'd be picking the 1 seeds (Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Ukraine), with Poland and Wales as outside shouts, possibly Sweden if they get their shit together (doubt they will, they look a mess). Really hope another one of Wales/Ireland/N. Ireland make it though.

Medium spicy: Losing Kasper when we did was a bigger loss to the team than losing Vardy has been. Extremely spicy: Even though he was still a very important player for us and scored a lot of goals (and clearly we struggle to score them without him), Vardy was an overall negative for the long-term health squad from around the time we won the FA cup onwards. He had far too much influence on the dressing room and was also on so much money that the rest of the squad's wages warped around him. This isn't to say I blame him and I truly think he was the best player we've ever had. A better board probably could have worked around those issues, too.

You reckon if this had ended 1-1 both managers would have been sacked? It's what that game would have deserved. -
This must be the first time in well over a decade that all three of Coventry, Derby and Forest were above us in the league.
-
No good free agent managers that I can see coming to us (or honestly, just generally). No money and total shitshow means no chance we attract somebody from another club (see: some Southampton fans deluding themselves that Lampard will leave Coventry for them). No nous left at the board level to pluck a relative unknown that will make things happen. Not an easy position for us and it's 100% self-inflicted. Not to mention I have no idea if we even have the money to fire him - I'm sure that the money he was owed by QPR that he paid himself will be coming back to him in some way.
