Not a penalty for me, I don't think this is an unnatural position at all. There's nothing that says that defenders need to play with their hands behind their back.
-
hard to believe these lot play the same sport as us
-
Hamza did too. Credit to him for coming to face the heat but it's honestly too little too late when it comes to showing that you care imo.

Arsenal on for a quad-bottle, Spurs probably relegated. World cup in the summer. If we weren't so shit this would be a delightful year for football.

100%. Not surprising that they don't want to play for the club or put any effort in if this is how they're being handled behind closed doors.
-
To be fair, Jon Rudkin probably reflexively asks anybody who walks into his office "How much do you want?"

These are gonna get automatics I reckon and this will be a routine win for them on that path -
Credit to Rowett, I think that was the closest to a solid 90 we've seen all season

Finally made it down to Alte Försterei after years of living here (in my defence, I live in the other end of the city and I work in hospitality so rarely have time when games are on). What a love letter to football that place is, really embodies the whole "Fußballromantik" thing. So jarring to see fans who are so passionate about their team, in a stadium that they built themselves and then have to go back to watch our shower of shite. Still not sure if I love the German football way of chanting that completely ignores what's going on on the pitch more or less, but can't argue with the atmosphere - both the away fans and the home fans were singing and jumping for the full 90 more or less. Union scored early and basically got peppered for the entire match, but honestly the result was fair as I think Union had the stronger chances. Definitely liked the matchday experience there much more than at Olympiastadion, but despite the general opinion in the UK, I definitely find Hertha the more sympathetic side.

Gonna make the bold prediction here that he's going to barely keep us up (assuming we don't get slapped for contesting our point deduction), get the job permanently, and then stink the place out as he won't have been backed (no money) and our best players will leave/return to their parent clubs, leaving only the rotten core of overpaid dossers.
-
Fully sympathetic to that view but I personally find Arsenal's squad and their fans so much more unlikeable. Man City winning is a nothing to me, may as well say N/A on the trophy; Arsenal is actively unpleasant.
-
That's that I reckon
-
Yeah very very soft imo. Feel like Arsenal shove people in the box on basically every corner too I'll take your word for it as I've not paid much attention at all to what's going on there. Still, misery loves company so I'm happy to watch the spurs fans moaning about it on twitter etc
-
He'd still be contracted to a championship squad if they go down, but that wasn't my point. I'm talking big name players like that who won't have relegation clauses - he came to my mind first but you could pick basically anybody in their starting XI.
-
Would definitely rather see Arsenal bottle it again, but it would be very funny to see the likes of Maddison getting relegated again.
-
Hope he can get the best out of Ben Nelson like he did at Oxford.
-
I'd have Davidson at left back over Luke Thomas tbf
-
Could have sworn we were a well ran club
-
no promises but i've bought a lottery ticket
-
Yeah he might be right about us on this but he's an Etonite twat who Sunderland fans hate.
-
This is maybe a stupid question, and I'm asking at I genuinely don't know how these things work, but who would even buy it if we were to try and sell it? It seems a pretty niche development but maybe the land value alone is something? Maybe Loughborough Uni?

Realistic Managerial Replacements

If there was anybody in negotiations with the club, they'll have their pants down on terms now as the club will be desperate to make it look like there is a plan. -
Hardly his fault, he shouldn't even still be in the job. Caretaker should be for a game, maaaaybe two if the schedule is tough when the sacking comes. Anything else and, much like is the case here, the board has ****ed up and not had a plan.

we're down
