There was simply never any chance of Skipp leaving, some people were just indulging in pure fantasy on that front. We aren't selling at a loss and that's the only way Skipp moves currently. We just have to hope a redemption arc otherwise he will stink the place up until we sell him for 50p in the last year of his contract.

Fair assessment. Cifuentes and Maresca are clearly very different characters. Maresca commanded respect, there was no bullsh1t, as a fan I liked that. Cifuentes seems a much warmer individual, the stuff with the museum, walking through Leicester and so on. An element of PR but it doesn't feel forced. Of course it all counts for nothing if he doesn't deliver. But it's a good start.

Spot on mate, it's great that people get to see some excellent players for free on the BBC but their coverage is also horrendous. The on field interviews are just sh1t. I've actually watched a lot of it, as I'm always up for more cricket but I just can't get on board with the format or the coverage.

Saying all that about the championship I watched the Charlton game earlier and I was very impressed with Apter, good pick up - only 22 and has quite a languid, elegant style but really excellent delivery, caused Watford a lot of problems.

We're walking this league, bar something unprecedented happening with the points deduction. It is full of crap. I thought that last time and if anything it has got worse.
