Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread
Bordersfox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Neh not having the moaning today. They were lucky to get out of there only 3 down. We hit the post, the cross bar and Carranza should have scored. We ruined them for the last 20 or so and only one team was scoring the next goal. -

Really enjoying his energy and pressing since he's come on. -
Which turnip claimed he'd been found out?

Any property folk/surveyors lurking? Currently in the pricess of buying a Georgian townhouse, grade 2 listed. It's been well looked after by the current owner who renovated it fully in 1991. We were going to be conservative and get a level 3 building survey which is recommended for older properties. However, a previous buyer (who pulled out for personal reasons) had a level 2 survey completed and we can get it assigned to us for a significantly lower cost. My question is: is there really a huge difference between the two levels, should we take a view and go for the level 2 or be ultra cautious and get the level 3?

Shame he decided to have a hissy fit he was always good value. -
Blackburn absolutely abysmal today. Charlton totally dominant.
-
Dire game, poor conditions to be fair. But Jones subs have made the difference.
-
Are they, I'm watching their game and they've been diabolical. Hamer looks like he's been on the kebabs. Wilder has a big job on his hands.

I think you are a very reasonable, considered and considerate poster. However, hasn't Finnegan answered this, essentially? The minute Mark explains to one person you've doubtless got everyone who has had a post removed or a ban spamming him. Then arguments over his reasons, whether they are justified and so on. Why is one post removed and another not? This will happen because most people are not grown up enough to say fair enough thanks for letting me know I'll bear that in mind. It'll be more moaning and b1tching. Although from your posts I am quite sure you are one of the few who would accept the reasoning it just opens the door to the majority who will whine. I actually really feel Mark is just between a rock and a hard place on this. This is a benevolent dictatorship not a democracy. Move on, you've had a post deleted on a football forum, who really cares? I am sure with the nature of your posts very few will tend to get removed in future.

Isn't the bbc doing champions league match of the day thingy on Wednesday Stan?

One day over a glass of port and perhaps a small selection of cheese, perhaps. But not today.
-
Also to add, as someone who has dabbled in political debate on the general forum Mark has removed some of my posts which, on reflection he was entirely right to do. He didn't ban me or give me a warning point but I did take it as a shot across the bows and backed off. The wailing at times suggests the man is some sort of tyrant. Since I haven't bothered because frankly it just seems pointless to argue with strangers on the internet and one of the reasons I quit other social media. Some of the sense of entitlement and snivelling on here is laughable. Move on, you aren't owed an excuse. Frankly it's mark's baby and he can do whatever the fvck he wants with it.

As i think @Finnegan once said it's remarkable thats its 2025 and people are still getting baited by samilktray

My knowledge of the world game isn't that good but if you mean is there a worse midfield duo that cost a combined £45m(ish) or more I dare say they'd be hard to find.

Well said. No way is this the starting 11 moving forward and now the window has shut. Numerous managers seem to have liked Soumare and I can't for the life of me fathom it. You get far more Oxford performances than you do Birmingham. Just nowhere near the play much of the time. Yes I know Skipp hasn't been very good but he's at least trying to get involved. Winks has to come in for Soumare and when fully fit (and Ramsey is back) you'd think James and Winks are the double pivot, or holding cm and box to box. Watching Winks in possession and threading line breaking passes just reminds you how poor Skipp and Soumare are. Ayew was our best player, he does hold onto the ball for too long but frankly when you are down to ten men, fine. Genuinely think had it not been for the red, marti makes similar changes at half time and we go on to win that comfortably.
-
Disappointed, I hope you're on the hard stuff now my friend.
-
You started on the whisky didn't you?
-
This guy has so many bad takes I'd be worried if he was backing Marti.
-
That's about it. Mavididi to start as I think he looked threatening today and Monga is the ultimate impact sub. Skipp probably starts next to Winks as James comes up to speed. Edit or maybe Hamza and Winks in the middle.
-
Guess we didn't want the game too stretched being down to ten men. I just don't think there's too much to criticise today. The minute we went down to ten this had banana skin written all over it. We did well to come away with a point. If he keeps starting Skipp and Soumare now the window has shut and we have other options I will be the first to moan.
-
Mavs and Fatawu both beat their men on a few occasions today. Wingers are always going to be a bit hit and miss. The bigger issue is what options do they then have other than passing it backwards? I'm hoping Carranza is better at finding space in the box than Ayew and that James or Ramsey offer more in the box as well. Carranza also better in the air. I like Ayew at this level but he's not a 9. Not even close.
-
Page and Nelson carrying knocks. Carranza has literally just joined. We will see plenty of Monga this season I am sure. We managed the second half very well given we were down to ten men.
-
He won't. Clearly some players were unsettled by the transfer window, Winks you'd think was looking for a move, and Ricardo has been injured yet again. Within a few games I will be disappointed if we see much of Soumare, or even Skipp. People need to calm down a bit.
