  1. Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha use the word 'relegation' challenge (impossible)
  2. Completed mine yesterday. Yes there are a lot of questions but almost all of them are multiple choice so it only took 5 minutes. Thanks to the Trust for organising it and fingers crossed for a good few thousand responses.
  3. Reminds me of the Seinfeld line where he’s talking about his arch nemesis Newman. Elaine: “Maybe there’s more to him than meets the eye?” Jerry: “Oh no, there’s less”
  4. Do they realise they don’t have to do this? And they absolutely don’t have to do this NOW? It’s not like an election that has to be held on a specific date by law.
  5. There are a lot of specific things I'd like to see changed. But a more cultural change I'd like to see implemented is the return of honesty to our club. Honesty in communications with supporters, honesty about our financial situation, honesty about our recent failures. The Thai culture of 'saving face' has exacerbated the problems we've had in the last few years and it has to change. Top and the rest of the executive leadership team need to stop treating supporters, the media and the football authorities like idiots and be honest with themselves about what's gone wrong and what they should do next (i.e. sell up).
  6. Guys, I just think we need to refine the club objectives and KPIs to enhance operational efficiency and ensure measurable progress across all areas of performance and we’ll be fine.
  7. All of this is spot on. 2021 summer window was the original sin that dragged us into the spiral of PSR. 2024 summer window is the one that could ultimately put us into League One and administration.
  8. Not a Leicester match, but I went to a non league game in West Yorkshire about 15 years ago and a bloke had brought his pet ferret on a lead.
  9. “A key priority for the leadership will be the development of the corporate framework structure, including the refinement of Club objectives and KPls to enhance operational efficiency and ensure measurable progress across all areas of performance.”
  10. Thought it was felt really positive before the game - supporters were loud and up for it. As soon as Wednesday scored their ridiculously easy goal it turned. As others have pointed out, fans were really getting on Jakub's back and some started chanting Danny Ward's name which was just bizarre. Lots of songs about League One, how crap we are etc. I'm all for a bit of gallows humour and like everyone else I'm completely fed up with this team but I thought some of this was a bit much 20 minutes in to a huge game that could decide our fate. I've never heard a Leicester player booed as loud as Jordan Ayew was when he came on. Yes he's rubbish and yes he's lazy but from the noise you'd think it was the return of Dennis Wise. And after he scored those same people were singing his song! Bipolar behaviour.
  11. Never known a disconnect between supporters and players like we have at the moment. It turned toxic very quickly today.
  12. Can anyone involved in the FAB fill us in on how the minutes are approved? Having operated a few stakeholder forums for resident groups etc in the past, circulating the draft minutes and only publishing once all attendees were broadly happy with the contents was standard practice in my sector. Do you get sight of them before they publish? Or do the club just write them up and publish without your input?
  13. Lots of interest in here but this stood out for me: "The FY23 budget, he said, assumed a level of player trading that was realistic and achievable. However, the summer 2022 transfer window ultimately generated £5.1 million less profit from player sales than projected. Following the close of that window, it became apparent that LCFC would need to revise its financial plan in order to comply with the PSR." We sold Wesley Fofana for £70m right at the end of the 2022 summer transfer window. Did we really expect to make £75m in sales? How would we have done that? If that was the aspiration, why did we only (apparently reluctantly) sell Fofana at the end of the window? Seems like the kind of wishful thinking that the decisionmakers at this club have engaged in time and time again over the last few years.
  14. 'Family club' latest.
  15. There's 'failing upwards' then there's 'promoted to CEO after 3 years as Finance Director where we lost so much money we were docked points'.
  16. Loved the interview with GTF. Seems like a top bloke. Feel super nostalgic for that 2013-14 team now, what a bond we had between management, players and fans.
  17. Genuine answer: the Football Governance Act passed last year places much more stringent tests on prospective owners. However it is limited in its provisions on existing owners, which is why it didn’t really do anything to address Sheffield Wednesday’s issues. It’s not perfect, but it makes it more likely that the situation you describe won’t occur.
  18. Yeah I was being a bit facetious. Just frustrating that we desperately needed a striker in both the summer and in January, and on both occasions signed players who for different reasons aren't trusted to play.
  19. Real galaxy brain stuff to release Carranza because he’s so bad he can’t get in the team ahead of Jordan Ayew, only to sign Richards, who is apparently so bad he can’t get in the team ahead of Jordan Ayew.
  20. This sounds brilliant, looking forward to reading it.
  21. This is a good summary. I think the task (essentially, stop conceding so many goals) suits GR. He's not being asked to build a team, just fix some obvious problems.
  22. We're now at 24 days without a manager, which is almost half as long as Liz Truss was Prime Minister. Will we go the full lettuce?
  23. Hilda, please. I beg of you. Have we not suffered enough at the Hand of Faes?
  24. Will require a cast iron guarantee that Dennis Wise won't punch him in his sleep.
