  1. That mistake doesn’t happen against us, simply because the defender wouldn’t be pressed and made to do such a terrible error.
  2. I can’t get my head around this one, sorry but even though I can’t see us picking up another win….I don’t understand this.
  3. Do we have bigger problems than Ruud? 100% Is Ruud also showing himself up as either a bit of a to55er and/or just not very good? Also true. On here, it seems to be a case of extremism….yes, our squad isn’t great and can’t wait for 90% of them to never be seen in a LCFC kit again but the excuses trotted out for Ruud are also way too generous. I just want to get a hint of excitement before match days again.
  4. Great pod gents. Reckon we have more chance of picking up points against West Ham tomorrow than @Ric Flair having been for his run this morning.
  5. Re-reading both Alcock and Dawson’s previous experience….we really were shopping in the bargain bin this summer weren’t we? Alcock was obviously a Cooper hire from their Forest connections. But Dawson’s track record at Newcastle didn’t scream out being a trailblazer did it I don’t know why I’m surprised as we only seem to sign players suggested by agents in the main. Another reason for Top/Rudkin to go IMO.
  6. Which is madness considering how little he has shown of being able to do this. I can’t help but feel that if Ruud stays on next season that we’ll have a continuation of the dross and basic football that he trots out now. I’d genuinely take Gary O’Neill over Ruud in the Championship at this point.
  7. His Brentford post-match comments were pure PR mode. It’s exactly what Rodgers did when he switched off and went into “brand protection”.
  8. Or ignore that Facundo was our most influential player under Cooper’s tenure? If the wingers aren’t good enough, then play with wing backs, quite frankly don’t repeat the same starting 11/basic tactics and expect different results. Daka for all his faults would actually be able to press, something that a 38 year old Vardy cannot offer.
  9. The same QPR who are 14th in the Championship with a GD of -3? Happy to be proven wrong (I originally liked the Ruud appointment) but do you genuinely believe that he would see us challenge at the top of the Championship based on his time here? I think the rot has well and truly set in personally.
  10. Sorry but that is way too generous on Ruud. Losing and not scoring at home in six games yet still rolling out Ayew, Reid and Vardy is criminal. Ruud has no management pedigree nor worked closely with managers who do (Enzo under Pep) so can’t see why anyone thinks that Ruud is exempt from criticism.
  11. I would have agreed with that a month ago. However, results and new (unwanted) records being set suggest otherwise. We’re getting relegated and Ruud has shown no signs that he’d do a Maresca and turn the slump around next season.
  12. I love your analysis but genuinely can’t think of what Bouba has offered. He looks more mobile (dare I say fitter) but I genuinely can’t wait to see the back of the big lump. Doesn’t create, doesn’t offer much protection. Pretty much living off that run against Ipswich.
  13. Yet he appears to have even less interest in our academy than Cooper did. Ruud’s post match on Friday night was that of a man who didn’t know how to get us out of this rut. Moving on two (possibly poor) coaches doesn’t fix that issue.
  14. Two things catching up on this thread. 1) Thomas is not the answer to any of our problems and I can’t believe people think we should even entertain keeping him, take whatever you can as would be pure profit. 2) Back to KP, I’m sure Watford did this but why does Top not make the most of Leuven? What I mean by that is why not just “loan” one of our overpaid and undesirables there, as would free up their wages from a LCFC perspective surely? I know that players have a lot of power but change the cushty environment at Seagrave and tell these to55ers they have no future here but they’ll still get overpaid for their bang average ability.
  15. Wilf looked lost and tried to press on his own or with Bilal. Soumare gave the ball away numerous times and two of those moments could be linked to one of Brentford’s goals. Never taken to Bouba and he is a fraud of a footballer, living off that run against Ipswich.
  16. Always been super critical of the big lump. Him starting each week, sums up how far that we’ve fallen.
  17. I genuinely can’t see any strategy under Ruud. The same went for Cooper. Two 1/10 appointments if we’re being honest.
  18. We’ve lost all ability at knowing how to press as a collective haven’t we?
  19. The only reason that I wouldn’t get rid is to not tarnish the next manager with a relegation. Enzo’s appointment highlighted the importance of a positive, progressive one being a shot to the arm for a confident stricken squad.
  20. Been soooo poor this half. Doesn’t make himself available when the CB’s have it. Given the ball away in criminal positions….Winks has been tosh too the last few games but Bouba’s “hall pass” from criticism this season on here is baffling.
  21. Why can none of our CB’s judge the flight of a ball? Everyone of our CB would have lowlight reels misjudging it from this season alone.
  22. Soumare has had such a free ride from most on here this season. He can’t be giving the ball away in that position. Then the defending from Okoli with Faes off wandering (shock) was Sunday league.
  23. Collins galloping past Ayew sums up my hatred of the guy.
  24. Go back a page or so and read the great article from Dom. We offer zero goal threat and have Faes at CB, this approach is ignorance at best.
  25. I couldn’t agree more. I hated Cooper but doubt even he would have ever started that front three together.
