Ignore this post as a duplicate. But my point still remains, Cooper set us back more than any other recent managers.

Cooper miles above anything since? That’s a very big stretch. The sad reality is that every manager since Enzo has been honking. Cooper however has hurt us longer term than the others.

We can’t blame any other managers for transfers as they haven’t been able to. Cooper had a fit Mads, Ruud never did. I thought how rank the Chelsea game was but then remembered Cooper’s mismanagement against Palace….his tactics and substitutions cost us the three points that day.

Please can this odd revisionism of Cooper stop. Cooper was the manager that signed off on Ayew, Skipp and to a lesser extent Reid. Like JJ and Abdul bailed out Marti earlier in the season, Mads did exactly the same for Cooper. That loss against Chelsea was one of the most turgid performances that I can remember, genuinely pitiful.

Is that our slowest possible back 4?

We seem to agree on the majority but I sadly don’t have the same faith in this version of our club scouting a player for months that you referenced. Remember, we’re the club that paid over £6 million in agent fees when hadn’t spent a single penny on transfer fees. We’re also clearly a manager led transfer club, Enzo wanted Sensi, that was the most obvious Enzo connection. Cooper definitely played a huge part in Skipp and Ayew as a minimum.

Whilst I agree with the majority of this post, do you genuinely believe that Enzo signs Skipp, Ayew and Reid? Those signings alone, made us weaker than the year before (losing our best player in KDH). For me, it was so simple, replace KDH with a like for like player - don’t spunk £70m on the above and even Bilal (we had Buonanotte on loan already). Search Europe for a striker who can play up top on his own and has the benefit of learning from Vardy/rotating. We’d have been in such a better position, or in even simpler terms….do what Sunderland did this year….look at their signings compared to ours, hideous mis-management from our two clowns and Glover, when will he get the much deserved criticism that he deserves on here btw?

He’s been worse than bad but we’re a toxic club right now. If us getting relegated to League One doesn’t finally drain the swamp (with risk of us folding) then we are truly are cooked aren’t we? Rowett 100% should not be kept on regardless though.

Wasn’t Thierry Small epic against us last time?!? I have zero faith in these dossers to do anything other than flatter and deceive for 15 minutes before conceding a goal from a mistake!

What a pointless signing. I’m 99% sure that he was their highest earner, you know that we’ve picked up his whole wage packet. I can’t wait for a documentary about how mismanaged that we’ve been.

That’s a bit harsh on Skipp. He was MoTM against Bristol City and we need a water carrier like him.

100% this. Imagine taking your best player out of his favoured position to play a combination of Skipp and Winks. I can’t think of a single time that pairing has worked. We’re rotten.

The reality is, since Kasper has left - we’ve had 1 good keeper (Mads). The rest have been below average. Jakub has too many flaws in his game IMO.

Disgraceful performance. Between him and Nelson, genuinely believe they’d struggle to score 1/20 on player ratings. Caught in no mans land for the first, has to be screaming for the second - there are zero players near Nelson. The third, he isn’t blocked but acts as if he hasn’t got clear sight of the ball. Honking!!

Nelson is a modern day CB….looks good on the ball but seems to struggle with defending. His contract situation winds me up but I think a lot of us (myself included) have bigged him up too much, likely in hope more than based on performances.

Eerily similar to Madders missing that penalty against Everton.

A sign of the times but totally agree. Cooper was an awful fit, Ruud was a gamble that failed miserably. Marti though was probably the worst, a fraud of a manager. Rowett also doesn’t talk in riddles or cliches and has been very honest in his assessments after matches.

Then he gives away that needless free kick. Do we have the most stupid bunch of footballers going?

He trots about a bit, less annoying than Ayew but such a pointless player isn’t he?

He actually has to be fair. When he’s not up against a quick winger, he definitely doesn’t look as amateurish.

He should have done better but Nelson was at sea to begin with, then makes a rash challenge in the box. 90% on Nelson and 10% on Skipp. Skipp’s been one of the better players on the pitch tonight.

Take Reid off!!!!!!! If he lasts the 90…..my head might explode. Mukasa offers everything he does but ten times better.
