  1. Anyone watching this and still spouting “Ruud to stay”, madness 🤯
  2. That’s up there with “careful what you wish for” when fans wanted Brendan to go. The devil that we know about Ruud is that he has broken multiple records at all levels of football. Losing 9 consecutive games at home without scoring is a sackable offence alone.
  3. Just get Chelsea to talk to Guy Branston after his peculiar comments about Nelson….that will put them off 😜
  4. Interesting. Not heard that before, any reputable journos reported that at all? Not saying that you’re wrong it’s just a complete shambles if true.
  5. Fair points. All I would say is that I’m 100% certain that if we did (I hope we don’t for the record) bring in a Dyche/Martin that they’d have a full back room team. The fact Ruud didn’t appear to have one ready made, sums up our amateur set up IMO.
  6. Surely if he had a coach super keen on joining him, we would have taken them on? Didn’t he fall out with most people at PSV and maybe, he just doesn’t have a group of elite coaches wanting to work with him?
  7. Another great pod lads. A great example of differing views but making sensible points. I’m 100% Ruud out though….I can’t shake the negativity that would happen when/if we don’t start the season well, momentum is such a huge thing in football.
  8. I’m genuinely surprised that people have any positivity about Ruud to stay. I can’t shake that people have given him a “free pass” because of him dumping Winks and Jannik out, with us all despising 95% of the squad. He has proven zero managerial credentials and as others have said his lack of care for our fans compared to opposing players is one of my biggest bug bares on top of our various unwanted records.
  9. For anyone suggesting that Ruud staying is a good idea, please listen to Monday’s WYS pod. Dominic Wells raised great points in relation to his complete lack of tactics. Ruud is a Dutch Rooney and shouldn’t be anywhere near a managerial position of a club that wants to be taken seriously.
  10. That’s a pretty wild claim to be fair. I loved how easy Monga made moments look earlier but Abdul has single handedly turned the game in our favour.
  11. Another very good cameo. If being overly critical, he made the wrong choice trying to play VK in but there were moments he glided with the ball into space.
  12. I think that you’re going to die on this hill so a pointless debate mate. You say about Stephy and Facundo’s form when Ruud persisted with the same starting 11 when breaking records for all the wrong reasons.
  13. He ignored Stephy and Facundo for how long and persisted with Reid and Ayew. I’m curious, you genuinely don’t think a good manager does better than Ruud? 🤯
  14. Sorry but there have been worse squads than ours who haven’t had such hideous displays. Look at Luton last season, they were never PL ready but showed themselves in a lot better light than us this season. We play a high line with zero pace at the back, we don’t know how to press as a collective, so get played through so easily. We look so unfit too, I could go on. Ruud and Cooper have been up there with some of the worst PL managers and we’ve hired both in one season.
  15. The difference is that you’re not a professional coach getting paid millions. He has made us look more toothless than we were under Cooper. Ruud hasn’t got the greatest squad to work with but he gets out classed tactically, week in, week out.
  16. Without sounding like a dinosaur, when was it the “good choice” to take players off posts when defending corners/set pieces in that sort of area?
  17. I know Coady was looking a foul then but how did the Assistant ref not give us a free kick when he was barged in the back, right in front of him.
  18. But I’ve read people on here genuinely put forward reasons to keep him 🙄
  19. Or, he didn’t have a back room team that wanted to work with him?
  20. Wilder actually blooded the youth though, giving Monga 20 minutes or Evans 6 minutes is pretty different. Wilder also is pretty popular up there considering he started his playing career there and got them promoted twice. A very poor comparison.
  21. Not sure I can comment on Southampton’s fitness as don’t watch them every week. Not saying that I want Martin but anyone defending Ruud seem to gloss over the unwanted records that he’s broken 🙄
  22. You read my mind mate. Ruud has overseen not only the hideous records….how people gloss over that is beyond me. But, also seen us look one of the unfittest PL squads in recent memory. His lack of back room staff highlights how out of his depth he is.
  23. I hope that whoever is in charge next season doesn’t drop the ball with Monga and other academy players. If more expensive dross like Reid and Ayew get signed to stunt their progression, then we deserve everything that happens to us as a club.
  24. Considering that the media have changed their narrative about us, they finally appear to acknowledge how poorly run we are. Yet, one positive that I noticed is the media love in for Mads and Bilal as players. I think that selling both at a half decent price should be pretty easy personally.
  25. Sorry, did you not state that unless we have a 5 year plan that included getting rid of Rudkin, that we should just keep Ruud on? 🙄
