Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
SafewayFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Did I really just read this? Not calling you out but comparing Ruud who has zero credit in the bank to McKenna at Ipswich is a pretty huge stretch. -
It would explain a lot if Rudders plays the role of Megan Fox in that AI film on Netflix š

Sky have definitely been on the take. āBetter performancesā the past few games 𤯠Brighton should have been out of sight in the first half. Liverpool were in first gear. Why no mention of record breaking no goals at home in NINE games 𤬠-

It already is. Heās the manager that was in charge when it was confirmed. -

Seeing Ruud all smiley and hugs with Liverpool players has become a theme hasnāt it? He is a such a weasel and joke of a manager. -
So Facundo isnāt fancied by Ruud as gives the ball away too much blah blah. Reid so far has given the ball away twice in the first 10 minutes, both times we were in good positions and Liverpool were able to counter š¤®

Reid losing the ball under his foot is such Sunday league stuff isnāt it? Blows my mind how poor he is.
-
You mean the points deduction that we avoided due to a technicality? Letās pretend that we didnāt break PSR š¤Æ

Sick to my back teeth of Ruud. He dropped Faes when first came and after 4/10 performances has become a regular. One of his many moronic decisions. -
Coady is full of hot air. Awful CB, lack of physicality, not all that on the ball and showed zero of his āleadershipā nous when we needed it. Would be quite happy with Coady, Faes and Jannik all leaving this summer.

When weāve had to endure the utter dross of āexperienced prosā like Reid and Ayew this season. I canāt fathom how any LCFC fan isnāt excited at the idea of Alves being in our squad in the Championship next season. This loan has been great for his experience and whilst I donāt think heāll start our first game of the season, confident heāll play a part in our promotion push.

The thought of Ruud staying on, has to be one of the most depressing things Iāve read. No other manager survives those numerous hideous records. He has shown zero ability since being here other than having a āgood auraā. -
Just listened and great to hear a well respected journalist call out our numerous issues. Fair to say nothing ground breaking but more media reports highlighting our issues and hopefully make Top and co, take note, can only be a positive.

Iād chalk up Guyās appearance as being a great idea on paper but his OTT loyalty to Rudkin/LCFC for his own career prospects tainting his value. When Jake rightfully questioned how one of the best DoFās could oversee our financial mess, his response about ādepartmentsā was one of the comments that wound me up the most. Surely the people in these departments are ultimately chosen by Rudkin himself? -

I genuinely think that Iāve read on here that āReid will be alright in the Championshipā As you said about his contribution yesterday, he canāt kick a ball properlyā¦canāt think of a technically and physically poorer player, that weāve had in the last 10 years. -

Ruud like many of his predecessors talk absolute nonsense at press conferences. Iām hoping that his actions like not going to the traveling fans, playing Monga when previously saying, āIt was too soonā are better indicators that he knows his time is nearly up. -
Have you not seen his agent on LinkedIn? Heās world class mate š
-
This 100% Why, I can never back the theory that Ruud might be ok next season. He canāt set the team up to do the basics, awful coach and even worse manager.

Minteh is going to have a field day against Thomas. Calling it now š¢

Who is Dunk whose legs have definitely gone too. He played in their 7-0 hammering against Forest then missed a fair few games and came back in and their form dropped off a cliff. -
I canāt see a single thing that Reid offers at any level. Canāt beat a man, no physicality, genuinely not sure that he can kick a ball properly so hardly a Sharky replacement either.

I was going to comment about Frankās āNo dickheadsā ethos is probably as impressive as their approach to data. Lots of clubs can have stats and data people at their club but a club the size of Brentford and their now regular status as a PL club highlights where we went wrong. I know that we had success beyond our wildest expectations but the board still thinking that weāre some top 8 club sums up their foolishness. -

He really is a mocha type of guy isnāt he? -
I couldnāt disagree more. Good managers in any trade surround themselves with people who challenge them, you could argue that inexperienced managers are either naive or egotistical if they donāt have an experienced assistant/group of good coaches. I agree that Ruud is a terrible manager but my point remains, I canāt think of an elite coach/manager, who didnāt have numerous coaches wanting to work with him when taking over a new club.
