  1. The guy who went off injured against Spurs at half time and hasn't been in the squad since? The guy that spent half the season out injured last season? Could be great. Could be an absolute waste of a loan spot.
  2. The optics of selling one of your only decent players whilst propping up the table in January are terrible. To sell him to the team sat just above you would be horrendous. It's not happening.
  3. What's the right price?
  4. For 2 or 3 seasons Saints fans have singled him out as a player who doesn't deserve to be stuck with them. Regarded previously as their only saleable asset (not now with Dibling) and by and large their only decent player. Taken from Saints fans on another forum: DEC 24 : Kyle Walker-Peters was our best player last season and is still one of our best this season, but at times Martin's tactics completely nullify him, he'll play on the left, or as an inverted full-back, instead of his strongest position. May 24 : Now we need to get KWP signed up to a new deal. Make him the highest paid at the club OCT 23 : Kyle Walker-Peters just shouldn’t be in this league. (This is whilst in the Championship obviously.)
  5. Well he played a decent number of minutes for Saints last season, yet they loaned him out in this. Still young and developing, presumably the reason Soton didn't bring him up with them. However, given they're definitely going straight back down, they'll likely need him unless they got a fee that made it worthwhile for FFP. In a position we're overloaded in I can't see it. Pretty sure we were loosely linked in the summer and this is just regurgitating that.
  6. He wasn't massively in demand before he came to us, it's not like he can walk out on us and get himself a top level job. It's also not like the Kompany situation because he's not shown he can instill his and prove his methods yet at any level. Added to the fact he apparently fell out with PSV, if he walked out on us it'd be a massive red flag for any prospective employers.
  7. Buo replacement?
  8. Ah but is he good enough?
  9. Someone like Bilal. He signed for us while we still didn't know if we were getting a points deduction and had appointed Cooper. Players want to play Premier League football.
  10. I look forward to his take on grooming minors and stealing them away from their family, and relate that to the Nyoni situation. Nyonces.
  11. Not sure how realistic that is given the number of injuries Spurs have had at the back, and how they never seem to be over them. Doesn't help that he got his arse sent off either, but maybe that'd help see him out the door! Let's be honest though, can you see us get value for Spence? I'd be worried about getting value for Reguillon and he's out of contract in the summer. We'd even get shafted on a loan.
  12. And they've all largely been shit as well, which doesn't bode well.
  13. I think people sometimes forget the massive difference in wages between the Premier League and the majority of clubs outside that. Few players will ever win much, cash is key.
  14. Amazes me that a player we have who has been doing well in the 4th tier is even thought of as a candidate for a Premier League relegation scrap.
  15. We were 13th at this time the season we went down. You're not safe until you're safe.
  16. West Ham get significantly weaker. That suits me...
  17. Apparently Jared Bowens injury is more serious than first thought. Could see him out for a bit. Apparently...
  18. I think it's got to be Jakub Stolarczyk. He's gone from not even being in contention when Ward was available to number 1 in a short few weeks. Incredible improvement. Couldn't even get a game a few months ago, now look at him...
  19. Already played for 2 clubs this season.
  20. We're going to piss it.
  21. About £35mill
  22. Surely we can convince Man Utd that Faes, Skipp and Daka are the answer to their problems! Someone get a hold of Paul McKenna.
  23. There's been rumoured Chelsea interest in Delap and now he's scored against them and applied himself so far, maybe they disrupt their January by putting in an offer. Go on, Enzo... You know it makes sense.
