Can Leeds afford to loan Piroe?
-
Even forgetting his International form he's hitting near a goal a game for AZ this season.
-
Cos they're fxxked without him. Like us.
-
The reason Braybrooke would get called over by the gaffer is cos he's the only Newport midfielder who plays the ball. A new manager might be even better for him. Probably to the detriment of his neck muscles though as he won't have to be looking up at the ball sailing through the air every 30 seconds.
-
Jaden isn't a striker though. Or even a forward.
-
Would have MON over Nige.
-
This ain't the Heskey that they're loaning out.
-
But we'd have probably signed Sensi, Casadei and still got Okoli.... And he'd have still turned down a permanent option of Yunus. Our recruitment under Maresca wasn't faultless, we did still make shit moves. One of whom we've fxxked off to Wrexham.

Delusional.
-
What about him makes you think he doesn't give a shit?
-
Well he was an ever present in the team that won the league 2 seasons ago. Has he regressed that much? Or is the current quality of the division that much better? Or was he being carried last time? I don't think Vestergaard is great, but I don't look at the options at the likes of PNE, Hull, Millwall and think they're all better players.

Such a Teté thing to say.
-
Think we've found our new striker!
-
That's kind of a "We'll give it another go next season" kind of statement isn't it?
-
Yeah I think that's a possibility. Newport will want to keep him. But the question is is it better for him to play a full season which he's guaranteed at Newport, or find him a new club at a higher level where he might not get the minutes. It's sort of a perfect storm required really. You need a side at a higher level that are in need of a player of his ilk that will play him regularly. Problem is there will be teams that just want and use loan players for depth/cover that may not be needed and the player gets no real measurable benefit. I know Luton have a couple of serious injuries to midfielders at the moment. They might need to dip in.

Problem is despite Braybrooke having a very good loan spell at Newport, he's playing a starring role at the club holding up the league. They're bottom of league 2. It's a huge step up to be playing for a club that wants to get back to the Premier League. I don't think Marti and Braybrookes futures intertwine. If we were to get back up, Braybrooke will still be far from proven at levels below what we'll want. And if Marti doesn't get us up, will he still be in the job to bring Braybrooke into the fold? If we don't go up you could put him forward as a Winks replacement who will certainly bugger off. Is Cifuentes around in that situation though? Braybrooke probably has another season of loans after this before he's in contention for us, and then it'll depend largely on the trajectory of both parties. We could be back in the Prem and he might be a league one standard player. We could be in league one and he signs up to a championship team. A lot can happen. Would be nice if everyone upped levels to be Prem level, Player, club, manager. But that's pipe dream innit?!

Well your day suddenly looks a lot brighter doesn't it?

Vestergaard isn't.... -
I don't get what you mean. Why is Mads flopping at West Ham anything to do with Rudkin and Top? Or do you just mean the fact we sold him in the first place?

Which we are. And its fxxking horrific. -
Does he get the minutes here?
-
I'd move Souttar on if we could get an anywhere near decent fee for him. I'm not convinced he's particularly good anyway, but given he's coming back from a serious injury if we can remove the gamble of him getting back to his best for some actual funds then I'm all for that. I know people like to point to his stint at Sheffield Utd last season, and it's a valid point, but they also liked Hamza as well, and in general we think he's shit. Any funds can be used on getting a striker in, not looking at replacing Harry himself. But tbh I don't think anyone takes the chance, so hoping he comes through this long layoff largely unscathed.

Grass... -
He has 2. Which puts him joint second with Bilal. Tragic.
