I wonder what the chances are we could get Ricardo Pepi from PSV.... He's just returned from injury.

I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with Dr...

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

They might be fine, but they're another 2 going into their final year. I know we need incomings for fear of not being able to field a side! But gerremout! -

Should imagine the 2 is split on appearances and Leeds survival. -

Funny how the only 2 clubs being linked to Bilal are both clubs to have given us the absolute shaft on transfers in the past 12 months. Feels like Karma wants a few words... And those words are F...... -
I want to use the laugh AND the cry emoji in response to this post.

Happy with that. The lad can still have a decent Premier League career, though at present you'd argue as a squad player for a side like Leeds who may survive. He can sort of fade away a bit like Castagne did at Fulham. I think there'll be little pressure on him given he's going to be a utility man. -
I don't dislike either. They're just not very good. I do feel Soumare could be good IF you had a CDM destroyer next to him that basically talks him through the game. At Lille he wasn't the CDM he was paired with Benjamin Andre, the older seasoned CDM and captain of the side. The lad switches off constantly so I think he literally needs telling every 2 minutes what he's supposed to do. It'd explain why he looks good in training vs a match too. He can constantly be fed and follow instruction. Can't do that in a game from the sidelines though. And even though he's marginally better than Our bush Kangaroo, with a year left, I'd sooner see the back of Bouba. Poor old Marti has the choice of eating dog shit or cat shit...

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)

You said if he's unhappy why not terminate his contract. Contract terminations are a mutual decision. -
Which players should we retain this window?

Anyone with a year left, get em gone if we're not extending. After that only if the money makes it too good to turn down. -

How do we benefit from terminating player contracts when they're unhappy if they have market value? Would be an idiotic idea from a business standpoint. If Bilal says he's unhappy do we terminate his contract so he can be happy elsewhere? -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

They've got to be careful though cos if clubs get shafted either through compliance or penalties and then it gets to a point something needs to be done about one of the bigger clubs and they just say "you know what i think these rules need reviewing. Clean slate for all" after doing the damage to the likes of ourselves they'll open themselves up to some serious court action! -

Much like the Winks situation, you can't equate the £5mill fee (for example) we'd receive for a sale vs an incoming player at a fee of £5mill. It's not the same thing. We have 3 outcomes. Sell. Get a fee in while the opportunity is there. Keep. And lose in a year for nothing. Keep. And extend. So unless both us and the player are keen to extend, it's a straight shoot between getting a fee and getting nothing. If the fee is £5mill, then your question is this "Is JJ worth £5mill per season plus wages?" Followed by "Is there better value out there available to us?" At £5mill per season on a 5 year contract, that's a £25mill player. What's known in the trade as "an Ollie". When you look at it like this can we really afford NOT to sell him? And even if he wanted to extend, knowing this, would we want to? -
Or he's got a quota on the number of stories he's got to get out, he's too busy to bother with it and hands it over to his freelance pal. If we were under embargo you'd see it mentioned on every transfer out rumour, because we'd be less inclined to sell if we can’t bring in, and that adds a few lines of context to every story. Maybe he does know something. Seems odd he's the only one though.

We don't think Nixon has just gotten Mitchell Hall to write it all then and added his name to it?
-
Screams to me of a reporter asked to write a story on a subject they know nothing about and just flesh it out with waffle. Nobody cares enough to fact check a story about us. Perhaps this is the tactic for engagement. With the top Prem clubs engagement drives itself. With anyone else post misinformation that not enough people know or care about for it to matter but intrigues just enough to get those clicks...

His loan year isn't part of the contract. We've literally had him under contract for a little over a year.
-
Well he was probably tired from the football match. I'm sure he'd have gone otherwise.
-
Didn't want him anyway....
-
Get that and get Rowe in on loan from Marseille.
-
Unlike Fatawu, Mav has a price.

Napoli already had a loan bid rejected by B'mouth. Can't see us being too desirable if Serie A sides are after him. And I wouldn't be keen on a permanent move for him at his age and stage of career. Agree in 2 8's though. I'd have 3!
