But we aren’t making it back to the PL under this ownership either. So we either have to keep them indefinitely and stagnate to a L1 club at best probably or ensure really awful times, so administration, to get a fresh start. A crap position to be in.

Transfer windows….windows of opportunity…. I wouldn’t expect Aiyawatt to navigate a window in a door way. Clearly the type who would think it’s open and break his nose walking into it!
-
And the window is open for us! We will no doubt shut it in our own faces….
-
Accept he was still way over paid for but perhaps not as bad as people believe. Appreciate the late efforts but part ways and wish him the best.

We should just forfeit the game now and skip the embarrassment of the formalities

It’s a good point. Although a well run football club should operate off its actual income, not rely on the owner to convert debt numerous times (as this is what is it, they have never actually put their own money into running things).

I can see 3 differences. 1. Plain glasses vs sunglasses 2. On the right is smiling dimly 3. Left has a white collar on the shirt Other than that, I do believe that is the same person

How many of those having a go at people protesting before the game saying it will derail the squad applauded tomorrows opponents fans on the opening day as they carried out a protest that quite literally would have been noticed by their players I wonder? And what happened next? Oh yeah, they squad with a fraction of the resources we had, have us a hell of a game and showed real togetherness with their fans. Using this affecting the squad thing is rubbish and hypocritical given people supported Wednesday’s fans. It’s basically those we give Aiyawatt full backing but want to appear as though they agree there are problems at the club.

I mean there absolutely should have been a review as to what was going wrong and they absolutely should have communicated their intentions to do so and follow through on it. So arguing over whether they said it or if it was through a journalist as a way of defending them is a rather weird ‘gotta’ and completely misses the point really.

The points total did flatter us though and made us look better than we were. Our own Champions in 2014 on 102 points under Pearson was a truly dominant and clear champion who ran away with the league.

I was supportive of his appointment and I do think there have been positives in most of the performances (not QPR or Norwich). I also fear who the clowns above will appoint next. That said, I just can’t get on board with the must play experience view point. The experience is letting us down and the younger lot have been completely discarded. I also have a feeling transfer business under Rowett would stink the place out. I mean recruitment will anyway so we would at least need a manager who can try and counteract that.

Since Southampton knocking us out the cup… Leicester - played 8 - 8 points - relegation bound Southamton - played 7 - 17 points - play off bound Good job it’s us focusing on the league

How does any cult work? It’s not a concept we would be able to understand not being that way minded.

This. I think people struggle to differentiate between awful players or ones just mentally shot and with no confidence. Admittedly it could be the former with Stolarcryk. But if it was as simple as that, players would not move to other clubs and perform well.

Oxford have a lovely run of fixtures until Millwall away last day. Portsmouth, Wednesday, Watford who are crap, Derby are awful. Wrexham maybe a tough one but Oxford are at home for that. You’d fancy they could get 10 points from that lot which we will be unable to match.

I know you’re right. I get fed up seeing the comments about people who don’t support the ownership being 2016 onwards which is obviously complete crap. Of course not all of them are KP era onwards. But I have said before, there was loads who came out the woodwork around 2014. I remember the stadium suddenly being full after years of lower attendances. So I think there is definitely an element of a lot of them being these types who didn’t experience LCFC before KP.

Spot on. Was it also Ricardo who lost it similar to Fatawu for the first goal, which led to the corner they scored from? Ricardo gets a massive free pass from most due to being a popular player. Literally Daka is getting more stick for the fact his goals were Preston mistakes than Ricardo does for shambolic defending. Like you say, players get their card marked and that is their reputation until the day they leave. It is why Stolarcryk and Nelson who you also mention, need to go in the summer as they have no way back.

Fair reply also Raj. I feel like that with many of them. I think I have never really disliked Daka in that way, just annoyed at how the signing worked out. Ayew, can’t stand him and his face. As with Faes and I’m fed up with the likes of Vestergaard and Winks. Ones that have obviously downed tools. I think Daka has always tried, it just hasn’t worked. -
I think this is answered in the bold bit.

It should be well over 50% that are actively trying to remove the board but unfortunately the fanbase is too passive. Perhaps 50% would want them gone if asked. But most people are silent on their feelings either way.

No. I won’t give a penny more to KP so will not attend. I want KP out and am one of the most vocal critics of them and the team so you can stick your comments about easily pleased up somewhere… It’s not that deep. At Watford, Daka cost us 2 points with the penalty and the defence did their job. Yesterday Daka did his job and the defence cost us. Until both do their job in the same 90 minutes, we will continue not to win games. If your dislike of the player is so much you can’t bring yourself to say anything remotely positive that is your choice. But you could ignore the thread. If you choose to belittle those who feel differently including myself I’ll respond in kind. It’s in our interests that Daka gets a few between now and the end of the season. And like I said above, I don’t see that it requires any different skill set to score a goal set up by a teammate or by an opponent. I don’t have an issue with you but you’re well off with these comments about being easily pleased or a happy clapper! -

I just don’t have a weird hatred for the guy and will criticise where deserved and acknowledge a good performance where due 👍🏻 -
Exactly. And actually, what does it matter in terms of a striker? You could use scoring from mistakes as a legitimate concern around chance creation (if you aren’t creating other chances). But it makes no difference as far as a striker finishing them is concerned. Still need to be in the right positions and anticipate, still need to finish. If a striker who was liked by the fan base tapped in from a few yards out from a pull back or something, you’d have people saying it was a great strikers finish, in the right place etc.

You could argue no shot is unstoppable. Placement wise, given it was off the bar, it would be amongst the hardest for a keeper to get to. The nature of the shot was more driven on the rise than a rocket type so not moving as fast. We aren’t dealing with top level keepers in this league. I don’t think the first one is one to identify the keeper for criticism unless you have an agenda (talking generally not aiming at you) against Stolarcryk or are going to be hyper critical of any goal conceded. Second goal, although I’d put Ricardo and the marking at more or equal fault, that is a lot fairer to look at Stolarcryk’s part in and identify that he could/should have done much better with.
