Nobody wanted to come we were favourites for relegation. He got his 3rd choices and when he left we could score and were 15th. I don't believe in luck. You make luck we even fought our way back in the odd game but some people couldn't get past the forest connection or see the board knew tic tac football wouldn't work and we needed a slogger to just keep us up this season playing ugly football. RVN is twice as bad as Cooper.

Sorry but losing 6 home games without scoring a single goal is beyond horrific. We did score under Cooper. Rvn is an absolutely horrendous manager out of his depth. Not a great squad but we are going backwards under him. Shocking utterly shocking and cannot believe he hasn't been sacked yet. Anyone defending him at this point thinking he needs a transfer window needs to wake up and look at the facts. The thought of him being around for the next game makes me shudder. Taking a poor team in 15th to one that can't even score in 6 games at home, some of those ganes against relegation fodder that we haven't even competed in. It's beyond farcical he is absolutely terrible. Sets us up the same. Same failing ideas. Setting records now at being so bad. Someone defend him I dare you.

Ruud needs to go and go now.

RVN is the worst manager we have ever had. Yes worse than Peter Taylor. -

RVN absolute fraud. Please please plesse be sacked after this. -
How on earth can we be defending these performances. He's worse than Cooper but because he was a good player all is forgiven and he's been dealt a bad hand. Such terrible double standards. It isn't personal but objectively he's a bad manager, no where near Premier league level. Needs sacking asap or we are going down. Its the same every week.

4231. High line with vesty, brain fart from faes, create little. Lose 2-0 thanks to some Hermansen heroics. Look good for a bit when Brentford ease off with the game gone. The Ruud cult hail a good performance and say he needs a transfer window.

Hilarious. What are people watching to think Ruud can build anything. Useless one dimensional manager who got the job because he's a name. Wouldn't trust him to build a sandcastle. -
Vesty is old and slow but technically gifted enough. He just isn't fast enough to play a high line which RVN did against Everton and my criticism of the manager is after we were caught out by the first goal he didn't see it and persisted with the high line. Vesty is fine playing a low block with less space behind him. Ideally next to Okoli who does have some pace and at least potential to develop. Coady needs game time and would be better in a back 3. So why not Coady, Vesty, Okoli in a back 3. RVN is rubbish he sets us up 4231 every game with 2 centre backs and a double pivot in midfield that unless Ndidi plays we can't pull off. I think our players need a different system and RVN sets us up the same with the same weaknesses each week and we inevitably lose each week. Our players look below par because we are in a tactically inflexible ground hog day with RVN. Great footballer woeful manager.

Unteachable needs dropping.

Not inevitable if we can recruit a competent manager.

I think he is stubbornly sticking to a 4231 which doesn't suit our current squad with a double midfield pivot we haven't the players for when Ndidi is injured. He's lost 8 out of 9 games and persists with it. We were better than this under cooper. He often plays a high line aka the everton debacle and didn't change it after we were 1 then 2 then 3 then 4-0 down demonstrating poor tactical insight. We have conceded more and scored less since he took over than we did under Cooper. He makes like for like subs at odd times his game management is poor. The squad isn't shit. Yes it isn't top 10 but it is better than wolves, southampton, Ipswich, possibly everton. It is good enough for 17. Playing a high line, playing a CB pairing. Playing a double midfield. Pivot. Every single game, with exactly the same result. That is what he is doing wrong. Why not play a low block at times with Facundo, daka, bilal, mavs for a counter attack. Why not try 3 cbs. Coady always played better in a 3 and we concede 2 every single bloody game. Why not play a mid 3 when wilf ia injured. Why not switch to a 343, 352 once. In a while. He is just not up to it. The players are fine. He is the problem. -
Yes forgot that that little experiment with Grey. I'm sure he tried it with Mahrez too at one point? We needed to increase the intensiteeee. To have Mahrez on the right wing again. Quiet all game then randomly in the 90th minute curl in a screamer from 40yards.

We will be out of it before the 30minute mark especially if its a high line with vesty. Depends if the team has any pride after that or their spines collapse in which case it will be a cricket score. 0-6 or 7 mostly from the right flank and trio of faes brain farts. Some debutant gets his first goal for arsenal Then RVN has to go. Hopefully this isn't the case but hard to be optimistic.

No the players are ok for 17th. We can stay up. Cooper was better than this, bringing Ruud in was a disaster. The rigid set up tactics, lack of game management. RVN is absolutely terrible. He played vesty in a high line last weekend and failed to change it after 1234 goals. Setting players up to fail will make them look bad. -
Never in doubt though was it really. Oh so predictable. 4231 same same same blah blah blah. Poor subs, poor tactics, wrong shapes Lost to a team on a horrific run of form. We are a one stop shop to turn around struggling premier league teams. Well done Ruud. Can we sack him now. What more do people need to see.

He will play well then when he's through for a 1:1 in what could be the defining moment of the game he will trip over the ball.

Couldn't agree more. Happy to run down the squad when we're being set up to fail by a fraud week in week out. Beyond ridiculous. A moyes or a Potter or yes even a Steve Cooper would have us up to 17th at least. -
Peter Taylor was a better manager than Ruud.

Absolutely he's been utterly shocking and needs to go immediately. -
I think he'd be fine playing in a back 3 which is something we needed to try about 2 months ago. Like vesty being forced to play a high line every week he's being made to look a fool by a clueless manager who isn't able to adapt to the skillset of the players we have.

I dont think the transfer window was that bad given our circumstances at the time. A points deduction and defacto relegation looked nailed on. Bilal has been an absolute gem of a find. Facundo a good loan untill Relegation van fraud ruined him. BDR Ayew proven prem players. Both regulars at their respective clubs. Skipp we paid too much for sure. Okoli needs more game time. All better than championship and at least prem squad players. Who realistically wants to come to a team with a points deduction, likely to be scraping the bottom of the league and no european football. Cooper was ugly football but I'm going to say it...... a much better fit for what we needed. RVN was a great player he is definately not a great manager he's way below prem standard. Incapable of changing tactics in game as evidenced by the horrendous high line, same formation, same play out from the back. Poor subs. Keeps picking bombscare Faes, keeps playing two CBs. He is so limited. Literally pulling my hair out as to how anyone watching the last 8 games can think he isn't at fault. We need a new manager urgently and we can stay up. Those players didn't need to be 3-0 down against everton at half time but they were because Relegation van noidea forced them to play a high line yet again and didn't nt change it after 1,2,3,4 goals. -

But we could try to change out tactics. Play a low block to negate our lack of speed. Play 3 cb's with wingbacks to sure up the defence. Play counter attack football. But no we roll out 4231 without the personnel. Play a high line and tic tac pass it around and wonder why we concede 3 goals a game. -
He's being asked to play a high line which we all agreed was odd even back when he was signed under Bodgers. Originally it seemed he was signed to come on towards the end of a game to give a 1st xhoice cb a rest when we were sitting deeper to defend the lead. If we start playing a low block or 3atb he will be Ok but to expect him to play a high line today was a ridiculous management decision. We have some OK players Ruud just doesn't know how to use them.
