  1. I’m stuck somewhere between being sick in my mouth at the state of English football and celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of English teams to completely **** with the rules.
  2. Have you looked for it at the end of your neck?
  3. I’d be going with a starting point of where I live then ending up somewhere near Lens’ stadium but that’s just me.
  4. Quite frankly couldn’t give a sh!t who they appoint anymore. Whoever it is I wish them the best. Can’t afford to take my kids to watch matches now so going to take a break from football. Probably still hang around on here and bitch though.
  5. I'd like us to hire a manager, buy a few players and ideally do reasonably well in the league. Don't really care how the club accounts for it all in the books. I'd like to be able to talk football for more than five minutes without having to discuss amortisation, book value, Financial Fair Play, sustainability etc. I'm also not fussed about what points deduction we get. It'll be what it'll be and the team will have to deal with it. Hopefully it galvanises them into a siege mentality and we can overcome the odds again.
  6. Then we should go after someone who actually wants the job.
  7. Stop changing the subject Danny.
  8. The last sentence of that coverage says all you need to know about Danny Ward - “it didn’t need to be right in the corner.”
  9. Agree with this to a point. We were doing good things then backed the wrong horse in Rodgers and it properly bit us on the arse. We moved away from our model of selling players and bringing new ones through and that was the beginning of the slippery slope we’re trying to scramble back up. I’m Rudkin out and then some but I’m willing to give the Chairman a little bit more leeway. Although I don’t see him learning from mistakes yet. In fairness while I don’t want him to leave, selling KDH for good money would actually be a return to the model that worked for us.
  10. It’s because his Nigerian age is 50 which makes him about 640 years old in real terms. Eyes don’t last that long. Probably.
  11. I know nothing about van nistelrooy’s career as manager. Any good?
  12. I’d love to think that Rudkin is working magic in the background to bring in a replacement immediately Enzo walks out the door. I’d love to think that…
  13. And back on topic - I hope it's Southampton that go up as we're more likely to pick up some points against them.
  14. I'm not sure which is worse - being an attention seeking, cringeworthy politician trying to garner votes by claiming an allegiance or being a genuine Arsenal fan.
  15. I doubt Harry Kane loses much sleep over not having a league one winners medal to be fair. I do rate the previous lower division league wins higher than the charity shield though. Coming out on top after a 46 game league season as opposed to winning a glorified pre-season friendly is a bigger achievement in my book.
  16. I’m surprised how high those numbers are. Would be interested to know what percentage of those polled were match-going fans. Statistically it may make for more correct decisions overall but it is at the expense of atmosphere and the enjoyment of a match. asking if it has made the game fairer is a bit of an odd question. If you believed refs are biased towards the big clubs with their decision making then allowing a biased ref from the same group to judge as VAR is surely no different. I want the system gone but if it has to stay then a time limit of 30seconds to assess and overrule decisions if necessary should be applied. That way we don’t have the long wait between celebration and disappointment.
  17. This just seems too good to be true. I can’t see it getting through but I’d love it if it did.
  18. Just joined. Didn't realise the Trust's focus was only on the interests of their members rather than the LCFC fan in general so it's good they've had a boost to the membership.
  19. I’m surprised Barcelona couldn’t find a more suitable stadium to share than a rugby ground in Leicester.
  20. I agree. There's nothing they can sue us for. We didn't deprive them of a spot in the Prem because they would have just occupied the third relegation spot and the precedent that has now been set is a max 6 point deduction prior to any appeal. Last time I checked, we finished 7 points ahead of Leeds although that does include points accrued in August which I think may be invalid for some reason.
  21. Need to add another few hundred quid to the miscellaneous cost and buy everyone involved a couple of beers.
  22. Well done lads. Looked brilliant.
  23. Jannick scoring with his schlong
  24. I'm going to apply just so I can go to the interview. I'll turn up full kit willy puller. When asked what skills and experience I have I can say "more than you Jonny". When he asks if I have any questions I can ask "What the **** do you actually do around here you incompetent cretin?". I'll probably get the job.
