  1. Just forfeit the game.
  2. Well I’ve had a mare there 😂 I blame Ward.
  3. I thought they scored before half time?
  4. Well that was just as shit as I thought it would be when I saw Ward’s name on the team sheet. Justin seems completely shot as well. Really sad to see. A real opportunity missed to put some daylight between us and the relegation zone. If Ward starts on Boxing Day we’ll be threatening Southampton’s record losses.
  5. Very true but with a different keeper between the sticks for those 26 games I think we would have stayed up. The whole team bear differing levels of responsibility and some bear far more responsibility than others. Rodgers is most to blame for picking him. Senior management are to blame for not sacking Rodgers. But the fact remains Ward cost us a lot of points that a competent keeper wouldn’t have done.
  6. It's been proved over the last few years that Ward's best chance of getting picked for Wales comes from him not being selected for his club. Every time he has a prolonged spell on pitch he gets dropped by Wales.
  7. That's pretty much what it'll be... Early 2000's chav meets 2024 Thai "influencer" mash up.
  8. You know it's going to be horrific!
  9. Yeah I reckon Barnes is nailed on for a goal or two.
  10. What I’m really happy to see is that the subs aren’t just like for like. Ruud is seeing issues and addressing them. Long May it continue.
  11. I think they’ll both stop over tonight and share a lift back in the morning.
  12. Happy with that. First game all season I was excited about in advance and a great result. Lots to work on but the attitude was spot on. Thought BEK had a great game.
  13. Blimey. Thought he was miles off in real time.
  14. What’s the saying about silk purses and sow’s ears. There isn’t really an 11 that looks good on paper right now. what I hope is that they have been given clear instructions on what to do and they understand their roles and have the discipline to stick with it.
  15. Fair play. Nice to see someone with an eye for their fans rather than their shareholders.
  16. And now I think about it, Fergie was a striker!!
  17. I am happy with the appointment and I really hope Ruud will do well for us. But it got me thinking how many top managers used to be strikers (and not necessarily elite strikers before we go down that road again)? Most of the really successful ones have been defenders or midfielders. I wonder if the selfishness needed to be a top striker doesn’t lend itself to management or the fact you’re seeing the game from the top end of the pitch and have less of a rounded view? The only one I can think of that almost fits the bill is Mancini but he was more attacking midfielder. There’s probably loads and I’m just being thick!
  18. No, the Radio Leicester lad.
  19. Why does our commentator react more excitedly to the opposition scoring than when we score?
  20. If Hamza is the answer then we’re asking the wrong question.
  21. He has my backing (I bet he’s relieved about that). I hope he does well and delivers us a few performances and results to excited about.
  22. Back on topic...I like the idea of a coach I know nothing about based on the fact that all the options I do know something about are fairly shit. This could be amazing or it could be a complete car crash. Either way it should be an interesting ride.
  23. I'm not a fan of Sutton (I think he's a bombastic, bullying twat) but I don't think he's far wrong with what he's said for once. On 5Live on Sunday rather than slagging off Cooper he was calling out whoever interviewed Cooper and decided he was a good fit only to sack him 12 games later, which I think most on here agree with.
  24. I've got no real preference on who the next manager should be. I'd rather we went with someone "new" and not the usual suspects (I'm looking at you David Moyes!). Whoever comes in has got a challenge on their hands but I'd like it if we got in a manager with a future who might succeed rather than just not fail too badly. I also don't want to hear again that "we are just a newly promoted side".
  25. Really sad news. Like others have said his was the voice of the Leicester City of my youth. RIP
