Probably end up with Macquarie bank calling in their markers then using the stadium as a giant cesspit to store all of southwest water’s effluent run off. It won’t be noticeably different from all the useless toxic shit floating around in there at present.

Mixed bag on the incomings: a couple of unknowns from Europe who may or may not come good; a couple of seasoned pros; a complete ghost. I'm happiest about the outgoings even if a couple are loans. Waving goodbye to Vestergaard, Choudhury, Daka, Ayew, Mavididi, Winks and Skipp feels like the end of a shitty era. Shame to lose some good youngsters but that was inevitable with the relegation. I guess you can't judge the window until the end of the season really but it does feel different to the last few windows where we've done nothing or just bought shit players on agent recommendations. I'm happy to take some positives from it without going overboard on the praise.

Yeah I was being facetious. He's one of the best players we have here and whether we keep him as our player or as someone else's it doesn't matter. As long as we get a good fee for him and a significant sell on.

This. He's not going into their squad this season so we're basically just screwing ourselves out of one of our best players with no opportunity to replace him. If we back ourselves to be promoted he will be worth twice what he is currently as a league one player and United will still stump up the cash later if they're so keen to get him.

I have no strong feelings about this signing and don't really care about the contract. Just hope he can fill his boots after dropping down a division through choice rather than incompetence. Fed up of worrying about PSR/SCR/PCP/LSD or whatever else is handicapping our management team and will spend this season trying to focus on what's on the pitch instead.

It's a fair point about needing to create more chances in open play but at least we are scoring from set pieces for a change. It feels like a long time since we had any threat on set pieces at all. Every corner would inevitably end up back with our goalkeeper.

I'll be glad to see him gone as he's an absolute bomb scare but in fairness to him, compared to many of his team mates I think he has made an effort while he's been here. He's just not a very good footballer.
