It's beautiful to watch. My bug bear with our possession football (particularly under Rodgers) was the lack of pace in the play. This shows how effective we can be when we up the tempo.

But…but…there were tweets.

If you replaced Soumaré in the squad I wouldn’t be disappointed.

Ex Players - They used to play for us

He'd make a good politician - starts off on the right wing but drifts towards the centre to get more control. -
Is it Preki ?

Craig Shakespeare Sadly Passed away

This is so sad. Seemed such a great bloke and never heard a bad word against him. He was with us at some of the best and worst times for the club and will always be remembered fondly. -
One is clean, safe and beautiful with well bred, friendly and welcoming people. The other is Nottingham.
-
Yes this is an uninspiring signing but the kind we need to make a few of. The bloke can cover various positions, works hard, knows the division and doesn’t have a transfer fee. We may have to pay a bit more of a signing bonus but in the position we’re in I can’t see the negatives.

Steve Cooper: The Tactics Thread

I hope he looks at the squad and picks the best formation to suit the players available to him rather than trying to shoehorn players into new positions to suit a formation. I agree that Fatawu could play wing back but I’d much rather continue to see him on the wing. -

Don't see Golding going straight into the team. -
Have you looked for it at the end of your neck?

I’d be going with a starting point of where I live then ending up somewhere near Lens’ stadium but that’s just me.

Quite frankly couldn’t give a sh!t who they appoint anymore. Whoever it is I wish them the best. Can’t afford to take my kids to watch matches now so going to take a break from football. Probably still hang around on here and bitch though.

I'd like us to hire a manager, buy a few players and ideally do reasonably well in the league. Don't really care how the club accounts for it all in the books. I'd like to be able to talk football for more than five minutes without having to discuss amortisation, book value, Financial Fair Play, sustainability etc. I'm also not fussed about what points deduction we get. It'll be what it'll be and the team will have to deal with it. Hopefully it galvanises them into a siege mentality and we can overcome the odds again.

Then we should go after someone who actually wants the job.

The last sentence of that coverage says all you need to know about Danny Ward - “it didn’t need to be right in the corner.”

Agree with this to a point. We were doing good things then backed the wrong horse in Rodgers and it properly bit us on the arse. We moved away from our model of selling players and bringing new ones through and that was the beginning of the slippery slope we’re trying to scramble back up. I’m Rudkin out and then some but I’m willing to give the Chairman a little bit more leeway. Although I don’t see him learning from mistakes yet. In fairness while I don’t want him to leave, selling KDH for good money would actually be a return to the model that worked for us.
-
It’s because his Nigerian age is 50 which makes him about 640 years old in real terms. Eyes don’t last that long. Probably.
-
I know nothing about van nistelrooy’s career as manager. Any good?
-
I’d love to think that Rudkin is working magic in the background to bring in a replacement immediately Enzo walks out the door. I’d love to think that…
-
And back on topic - I hope it's Southampton that go up as we're more likely to pick up some points against them.
-
I'm not sure which is worse - being an attention seeking, cringeworthy politician trying to garner votes by claiming an allegiance or being a genuine Arsenal fan.

The "do they mean us?" thread pt 4
Death by Football replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
I doubt Harry Kane loses much sleep over not having a league one winners medal to be fair. I do rate the previous lower division league wins higher than the charity shield though. Coming out on top after a 46 game league season as opposed to winning a glorified pre-season friendly is a bigger achievement in my book.
