Under Ruud do we seriously get another point all season heck at this rate another goal? Tactically inept and his post match chat tonight gives me no confidence. It’s not got better for the last few games either, in some ways I wish we’d have one of those Wrexham style documentaries just to see what on Earth he is coaching them?

No changes at HT is further proof how out of the depth RVN is (or the lack of care). Even if the options aren’t great how you send the same 11 back out is criminal. Sure we’ve lost already but at least get some effort. You give up with this lot.

We all know we’re a complete mess and it’s been coming. We’ve had a days in the sun, now it’s back years in the Championship with a complete rebuild.

Just watched the goals again. You lose the words for our defence. Awful for both goals again. Sure we created plenty of chances tonight and on another night the result could be different but we’re so void of anything. The gap in the midfield between Winks and Soumare and the 3 attacking mids is like a cavern at times. Lightweight rubbish throughout the squad. we’ve had our time for miracles, one more is surely beyond this lot.

I know this was FOR us by my god Michael Oliver giving us that pen at Watford in the second leg. 95th minute. NEVER a pen! 😂

Other than the goal were all our other attempts speculative efforts from distance? We simply don’t look like we know how to attack other slinging it wide and a hopeful (hopeless) cross comes in and drifts out or to their GK. The second half was abysmal. How do they suddenly come out so bad (credit to Forest, they looked so up for it after the break, and should have had more goals, as much as it irks me they’ve recruited well, with some bargains in there and are well coached - we can dream of that once more!).

I’ve been at work so (thankfully) missed it. We’re there any positives from it or another absolute s**t show?

Two hugely difficult fixtures coming up away this week ahead. Could we end up losing 5 on the bounce? Going on today it feels likely! Hopefully we have a serious bounce back on Tuesday.

Highlight of Norwich was the brief Vestergaard chant and HANDBALL, hearing it randomly 20 minutes after the match walking back to the coach. Superb

Strange feeling watching that, let’s be honest we absolutely honked for 99% of the game. didn’t get near them but still about just kept them at bay (with more luck that anything) but a clean sheet and a small glimmer of hope for Sunday, though I can’t see Everton not getting over the line at home to Bournemouth. It’ll be interesting to see who starts on Sunday and if they can handle the pressure, all these “must wins” and we haven’t won one of them yet!

Whole club is rotten at this point. Those at the top have sleep walked us into relegation and only realised too late - Rodgers rightly gets a lot of flack but the players themselves need to have a hard look at themselves for being so abject all season. I’m not angry anymore, just bitterly disappointed in what we have become. If we got out of it from here it might be better than the Great Escape season because at least then we were in games, we’re not at the minute.

Seeing Soumare getting ready to come on is soul destroying. Shoddy defending throughout. Not a jot of confidence in our play. Hard to see how we get out of this.

Rightly Rodgers gets a lot of flack for tonight but some of those players need to have a hard look at themselves if they think they’re good enough. Our back up options are really poor and that showed again. Let’s not forget Blackburn themselves were without some strong players too. We’re unbelievably easy to set up against, push tight against our back line and we’ll bugger up passing it around, and mark out Barnes cause he’s largely our only real attacking threat (or was tonight). If we lose on Saturday we’re absolutely doomed.

Thought we dominated the game, certainly in possession and chances. Subs certainly livened us up but my word our finishing was woeful. Barnes 🙃
