If peoples opinion is incorrect (I don't think it is, just look at the decisions made and the facts of the situation); he could have come out and given an interview or engaged with some of the fans. He didn't - so we have to judge on the facts, which spell failure and incompetence year after year.

Look at the trajectory of the club and decisions made since Vichai passed. Respectfully, he doesn't seem either cut out and/or that bothered about this. I want him and the ownership gone. Forget manager chat, Rudkin, it starts, well, at the top.

Steve Cooper: The Tactics Thread

I don't think we can judge; so few signings, that interview today, while he's not doing a Brendan or even an Enzo re transfer comments, there's a real sense of "this is not ideal but I'm trying to work with it". I like his transparency and what he's come out with in pre-season comments wise; I know it's on the pitch is where it matters, but we haven't given him much. -

It is pragmatic, but he's also being quiet explicit about the need for signings to be competitive, sounds like he's putting down a marker, which is the right thing to do. "We're trusting each other to get the right ones in" is interesting. -

Is it up to date? -
I watched the interview, did some reading, remembered the performances against us and arsenal in the cup. He had players running through walls for the team First of all, he's genuine. No image/ego like our last two managers. He speaks plainly He's up for it clearly. It comes across. He wanted this job,.not like Potter,.not like Enzo as a stepping stone He's a guy that has had to work to get where he is, image/perception is not on his side. There's a grit there I'd play for this bloke. Based on the small ish amount of seen, but I'm actually a bit excited, certainly more than a season with Maresca. Let's go.

We have a wheel?

Literally - buying some sausage rolls and crisps, and making the most of the "3 for £6" big bottles of lager (Asahi), I managed to get a quick photo as he finished his checkout (opting for the human rather than self serve checkout - can only signal good man management themes?) Any other spottings of suitors in the area?

You could see him trying to shuffle out of the camera. I think he's feeling the heat a little. Let's keep it up. Also "Employees also benefit from up to 33 days’ annual leave including bank holidays." "Up to" 33...minus the bank holidays? So "up to" 25?....

Imagine basing your image, approach to work, the way you speak so closely on a mentor, so that you look like an imposter. Arteta isn't an AliExpress pep. Our man is walking cringe and arrogance. He's been found out week on week by meat and potatoes (no disrespect, I'd rather have them) managers. Get him out of this club.

Agreed, and that's the quality of the average player today - you give the space away, a decent player will hit it and be close. It happens so often to us, even if it doesn't go in. Terrible post I know but I'm half asleep

No yeah!

Especially his previous explanations were about the creation of chances being the main thing.

I don't want him here next season. I don't want him here one day after the close of this season

There is so little difference between this and Rodgersball.

Big Dan is back apparently too and got his passing boots on

Incredible pod. Agreed the fk out of it. Love to hear the passion -
Who should I believe? The facts, that we have overspent by a large amount and find ourselves in trouble with both leagues, or a guy who continues to employ failing leadership, within a club that is failing by any measure, year on year. I don't believe him nor do I trust him. Could be unfair but I only have to look at what I see, he club aren't transparent enough for me to make any other conclusion.

Kdh and wilf looked knackered. I don't blame either of them, just made the lack of subs even more bizarre.
