  1. Totally agree. Today is the perfect example in my opinion of a game that was there for the taking, had we approached it differently - but we ended up playing for a point and getting nothing in the process. Ruud said in his post match "too little too late" and it was exactly that when we had a go at the end - but ignored the fact he didn't make any real attacking changes until I think 79 minutes. He blamed individual errors for the goals - correct in that regard, but had those goals not been conceded, the nature of our play and 10 men behind the ball we'd have conceded on any other occasion anyway. We could go back in time and play that game again with the same setup and I dont think we would win one in say 4 or 5 "replays". He keeps talking about us having reduced the chances on our goal - I think that's true, but we still don't look like winning a game. We need a few 'easier' games to assess. He has a terrible squad at his disposal, a toxic club generally, so that has to be accounted for - but the jury is still very much out on him until then. I like the way he speaks - but also this calm approach, let's hope behind the scenes there is some more plain speaking going on.
  2. Hamza has done ok for us lately and I'd argue has been better than Justin
  3. Starts at the top. Rudkin for the tactical, but who let that happen?
  4. Exactly. And as much as I love adidas originals, fk them off as a kit maker. Awful. Umbro, hummel, whatever
  5. Any non-paywall link going, please
  6. No disrespect - but I would say no to that stadium name personally. Call it filbert way or something more 'leicester' but once KP have gone, it just feels odd in my opinion. Vichai had a huge, immense role in our success. But it wasn't just him, and KP since his unfortunate passing, well.
  7. Gerrimin (CB/Player manager/DOF)
  8. you're forgetting the selections? forget today
  9. part of it for me is his press conferences so far - gone from "speaking well" and saying the right things to deflective and being very abstract/non committal. I don't mean digging players out, but putting a firm line in the sand. Nothing we can get behind.
  10. I think we might be catching them as they putter back into life
  11. I don't see it. He refers to it - what is it? It's very much the same thing, albeit he's better looking with some charisma
  12. plus his fake age. 23/24. He looks like a short, unwell prince william.
  13. and I guess you also have to take into account the players he's around, dragging him down perhaps. Not saying he's Maldini
  14. is this better than cooper? Then again same players minus fatawu and playing liverpool
  15. well done to him tonight
  16. Absolutely. Tolerable in the championship to a degree if you create, but he's costing us both ends of the pitch here
  17. I interpreted it as more about protecting him rather than performance. It felt like a subtle dig at the fans.
  18. He needs to be careful when talking about the fans in reference to Justin and Ward (fans not helping the team etc etc) - a little Rodgers esque.
  19. I don't think he would have left if he hadn't been lied to about transfer budgets etc
  20. I understand your point, at least some of it, and I don't entirely disagree. But the more the fans voice their disagreement, although it's horrible, the quicker we rip the plaster off. If we all turned up at the next home game and cheered him like a gladiator, would he be a better goalkeeper?
  21. Could @Union FS do a simple Leicester blue tshirt with Rudkin out on the back and front? Or similar stuff.
  22. Exactly. If he was brave enough, set up an interview with a fans group, live. No screening of questions.
  23. None of that/this is acceptable and if it takes some harsh words to be said in the meantime, it saves longer term pain for all parties. Do you think this is helping Wards career? Or health?
  24. I just don't know what to think anymore 🥲😂 Cooper was not right for us, think almost all of us thought that (note I'm saying this was a widely shared opinion and not fact) RVN, a gamble, but someone who has been around top managers, been a top level coach (within reason), and had/has authority (yes you can argue that is all playing career based). The mads/Ward thing has given him a curveball that otherwise we might be here with 2 wins, 1 draw 1 loss (let's assume Newcastle was a loss regardless of Ward) But - the way the ward issue has been handled and the lineup the other day, the fact he still doesn't have any staff in (regardless of if the board prevented this or not) has suddenly shaken what seemed a positive start. The fixtures coming up are brutal. I want us, and him to succeed. But this twist of circumstances and poor judgement has really upped the stakes on how he navigates the next set of games. The only other thing I can say is rudkin out, we need that slogan everywhere, visually, in the stands. Top needs to feel the pressure..because looking at him shaking his head in the stands, he doesn't get it. He's not an owner, he's a custodian.
