  1. Is Page staying after this season or doing a Monga and buggering off?
  2. I just had a look at the tickets available for the game and it feels like a lot have put their tickets up for resale. Certainly more tickets available for West Brom then there have been for most other games in the last few months. The boycott is pointless if people put their tickets up for resale in the hope some one else sits in their seat so the ST holder can get their money back.
  3. IF Monga is leaving at the end of this season and his mind is already made up (which is what a lot on here think), I don’t understand why we should be playing him over someone such as Silko or Evans. Let’s face it, we’re not going up. The odd few points Monga could win us over someone like Silko won’t mean much. So as long as we’re not in danger of relegation, surely the priority this season should be on building a competitive squad for next season.
  4. I’m at Sheffield Wednesday right now and all I can say is at least we don’t have our own trumpet player…
  5. It's my old man's Christmas present from me... Leicester playing earlier too so should be a good day out.
  6. I have.... The Snuts - o2 academy Leicester The Lilacs - o2 academy Leicester The Mercians - the international Leicester M60 - The Foundry Sheffield The Covasettes - Crookes Social Club Sheffield
  7. Ahhhhh I can’t wait for the next 3 weeks. Gassed.
  8. I really enjoyed it yesterday. Was 100% helped by being 3-0 up in 30 and it being a local derby. Goal celebrations felt proper too. It wasn’t just a small cheer, people were really giving it some when the goals went in. Derby fans were shite, although most would be if they were trailing by 3 for the majority of the game.
  9. They’re mostly 2nd and 3rd gen “Indians” there though. Not like belgrave area where 60% of conversations don’t happen in English.
  10. Southampton TikTok admin is a right wind up
  11. Spurs at home 4-1 gave me hope that the good times would last a few more years. Was the last time the stadium felt electric to me. Felt like a new dawn. How wrong was I.. End of the 2023/24 season had some crackers. Notably Birmingham City and Blackburn. Also weirdly Watford from that season too was great, Vards scoring against a outfield player in goal. Nothing from last season or this season yet.
  12. Happy Benn won. Eubank seems like a bit of a nob. Benn says what he thinks and seems genuine at least.
  13. It’s always difficult to know the intentions of those singing it. If you think that the same song would be sung to British/western owners, then yes, there’s nothing wrong with it. If you think the song is only being sung because the ownership/KP are Thai, then there should be a problem with the chant. Personally, I’d like to think it was sung with the first intention mentioned. But having seen certain fractions of our fanbase, I can’t be entirely sure it was.
  14. Chants were honestly horrible. But the funny thing is Top’s too busy playing polo with his pals in Thailand to realise they even happened. Is it too much to ask for the ownership to care about LCFC as much as us fans do?
  15. This season I’ve seen two separate racist incidences. Which is two more than I’ve seen in any other season following us. Both were from individuals who don’t represent the majority of us fans. But unfortunately I think racism in football is rearing its ugly head again. I also don’t think it’s LCFC specific.
  16. Yep. I had fully ruptured (grade 3) three of my ligaments. So I guess that’s sort of a worst case scenario. I was offered injections to speed up recovery, however the doctors recommended that I let it heal naturally, so I didn’t take the injections. So there are ways to speed up recovery, but they too have consequences.
  17. I’ve never understood blue on blue. 99 times out of 100 it’s pathetic. People have different views - that’s part of football - there’s no need to fight your own because of it 🤷‍♂️
  18. I rolled my ankle playing (Sunday league) football in a similar way to what Ben Nelson did yesterday in February 2024. In my collision there was no contact, but all of the weight came through one ankle when landing. Long story short, but an ultrasound confirmed I had fully ruptured 3 major ligaments across the ankle. I couldn’t play football for ~4 months after the incident, and that was considered a quick recovery by the physio/doctor. I assume a professional athlete would be able to recover quicker than me, but I still think we’re looking at months until we see him again.
  19. Not loading for me… if anyone has a link a Pm would be appreciated
  20. I’ve noticed that the phrase “pass the ball you stupid ****” comes out my mouth a lot when this fraud plays.
  21. Almost all of them.
  22. I don’t know how all of a sudden there are so many correct line up leaks. Who’s the rat in the club?
  23. Arsenal were desperate for Rodgers after sacking Emery
  24. I was saying this to a few mates earlier. Villa, Brighton, West Ham etc will experience a fall off at some point soon despite recent success - West Ham already are. Its impossible for smaller clubs to break into the top 6 for a sustained period of time without serious Newcastle level investment. It works for better and for worse. Things will change eventually. I got laughed at for saying this, but we will be playing European football again - whether it’s in 10 years or 50.
  25. I've found myself in a weird position... I hate Faes the most without a shadow of a doubt.. but I don't think he's the worst signing out of the lot. That award has to go to Skipp.
