  1. What’s the turnout like? How many people are there?
  2. It’s an LED board, so surely what’s being displayed can be changed whenever? So if anyone has any better ideas, spend 10 minutes on photoshop, post them on here (make sure it’s a downloadable file) and per chance the van driver/ organiser can update the van’s screen? Saying that, I personally don’t see what’s wrong with what we currently have.
  3. You're right. Violence is never the answer. But I'm fairly sure this bunch of players (bar a 38 year old legend) are incapable of scoring a goal. On the other hand, seeing your players fight for you gives an extra burst of adrenaline (or at least it does for me). There's just something about it. Gets the crowd up and ignites a flame for the rest of the game in terms of atmosphere. I like the modern game, but its this sort of passion that's missing imo.
  4. I was watching the end of the Liverpool Everton game, in particular the fight after full time. Curtis Jones saw Doucoure celebrating in front of the Liverpool fans and started something that ended in 3 red cards. Got me thinking - when was the last time our Leicester players have fought for us as fans? Definitely not in the last 10 years unless I'm forgetting something. And when have they been involved in a bust up in against another team? Game against Chelsea when Perez blew our Champions League hopes springs to mind as the last time something of the sort happened.
  5. He had quite a good chance taken off him by Robinson at around 85. A more experienced player would yell at Robinson telling him to leave it.
  6. Everything’s political I guess. The club have to talk with the trust. But are under no obligation to communicate with UFS. A working relationship needs to be maintained for UFS to continue and build on doing the excellent work they’re doing. If they were seen organising a protest, I’m fairly sure the club would remove the singing section and deny all their applications for new tifos they may be planning.
  7. I’ve been watching since half time in the hope he comes on. Its only been 7 minutes but GOD I hope we stay up this season. I forgot how shit the quality of football is in the championship. Especially after watching the champions league.
  8. Funny as LCFC have just released an interview with Tom Wilson Brown where he says; “When I was seven, eight, nine it was an hour and a half up and down the M1”…
  9. Is that a general rule for all clubs? If it is, I think it’s excellent. It promotes supporting your local team (something that’s getting increasingly less common now) and also gives the club a greater reason to run more “football in the community” projects, especially for younger kids.
  10. That’s stooping too low. We’re not Coventry.
  11. Semi automated offsides (like they had in the Euros) just seem to be the most logical solution to me. In every competition. It’s just mind boggling why that wasn’t given. Big 6 bias? Pressure of Old Trafford? I don’t know. But we’d never get given a decision like that.
  12. Feels like it’s always us. Honestly I think they’ve accidentally done us a favour. It’s good that we’re out the cup and not having to play an extra 30. But my days the officiating in this country is woeful.
  13. What am I wrong about? And how can we label someone as generational when we haven't seen them play senior football? Imo vardy is a “solid” player and he only came through into the premier league aged 27. And Kane is also a “solid” loan player yet he had an unsuccessful loan spell here aged 19 or something. I know they’re a bad case studies as theyre rare. But so is Yamal. I can only think of three or four players who have performed to a consistently high standard aged 16/17. Yamal, Rooney and possibly a handful of others. The chances that we have one of those is very rare. All I’m saying is that expectations need to be managed a bit. At least until when we see him play men’s football. And if it doesn’t go to plan for him tonight then he can still be a top player.
  14. People need to calm down. In 8 years he’ll still be considered “young”. He has plenty of time to grow into a complete player, even if he doesn’t perform today/get minutes. It feels like, on here especially, there’s a huge overreaction to almost everything. It’s crazy to think that when he’s Jamie Vardy’s age, Vardy will be 61!
  15. Depends what you mean by “back” Do I think we’ll win a cup again? Probably not. But do I think we’ll get European football again? Yes - 100%.
  16. We’ll be back, I have no doubt. Maybe it’ll be in 20 years, but that’s part of the rollercoaster that is our club!
  17. Ultimately the club know this is a business like no other, and we’re customers who will never go away. They don’t give a shit about us. Never have. As others have said, they just want to tick boxes given by the league.
  18. Here’s to you Bilal El Khannouss Leicester loves you more than you will know Woah! To the Danny drinkwayer tune
  19. Surely implementing safe standing is a drop in the ocean for them in terms of finances. And it’s such an easy way of getting fans and fan groups more onboard. Mind boggling (but very expected) that they chose the cheapest option.
  20. Wimbledon for me. Although hopefully Sheffield next year. A home game is normally the best part of a day. I understand why people are thinking about knocking it in the head. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love it. Especially after days like today.
  21. Felt like they were running and playing for each other today. Great to see. Back to the usual next week I’d guess though.
  22. Steve Cooper: the most vibeless man in existence 😂
  23. Agreed. I’d guess outside the west stand by the players’ car park, so the media sitting in the west stand could see it. And how could we make it as effective as possible? When Everton got their deduction, they were holding up purple cards around the stadium. Although it was ridiculous, it attracted huge media attention. Where/how could physical banners/scarfs etc be produced? Do we need them? How would we fund them? Feels like a bit more detail/planning needs to go into this than “everyone turn up 10 minutes early than normal as an act to show discontent against the board”. I fully agree with the sentiment though, and am fully onboard.
  24. First time I’ve ever done it. And the only reason was because of a combination of what was happening on the pitch and the fact that the stands were completely silent: As soon as seats appeared in the singing section, I went straight up. Also, I wasn’t criticising - just saying what I thought during the game 👍
  25. I was in G1 for the first half yesterday. I didn’t realise how loud the section actually is. When you’re in it, you think it’s really quiet. And me, as someone who enjoys singing, found it really difficult to join in with the SK1 chants when everyone else around me didn’t contribute a bit (not even clapping). It just felt awkward. Second half I spent with my cousin and his mate downstairs in the concourse having a few drinks, then went up to the front of SK1 to sing about Rudkin and the board for the last 10 minutes. By which point the rest of the stadium was empty.
