Imo as a younger person, most people I’ve spoken to across the UK speak with elements of a South London (as someone on here suggested)/ Black British accent. You hear the same slang all over the place, less local slang. I think regional accents still exist, but they’re blending with this newer style. People on social media, musicians, etc have all started speaking like it.

A Cov accent is basically a Leicester accent (but naturally shitter). And that accent was definitely not a Leicester accent. A bit of a side note, but it’s sad how people from all over the country are losing their accents. Most people below the age of 25 sound like Monga did just then imo.

This will never happen. The Premier League just want the rich to get richer. Meaning the poor get poorer. They don't care about clubs like ours. The players themselves don't even care because they all support one of the big boys. Emphasises the sad state football is in right now.

From what I could work out, I don’t think Monga ever said he was staying. Just one of his mates said “JM is staying at Leicester, I know he is” and something about being our future captain. Could very much just be taking the piss. I’m not sure I’m going to read too much into it unless someone more reputable says something.

If we lost every week with players who actually cared, a manager who actually cared and a hierarchy who actually cared, I promise you, I (along with many others) would go every week. It’s not losing every week that has people enraged. It’s the fact that the club are so far from what they used to be. They’re not relatable any more. Not the club we all fell in love with (and by the way, for most of us that club also lost a lot). Not something we can be proud of. We’re just here watching our club rot away and that hurts. Anyway, I don’t understand how this thread has turned from being a lighthearted thread into this. Since I’ve stopped going, I’ve started playing darts on a saturday afternoon. Bought myself a darts board and all.

Odd question to ask but do these European “ultras” (or whatever you want to call them - loud European fanbases) drink before a game? Whats the football drinking culture like in the mainland? And does it affect the atmosphere?

Maybe. But there’s also a reason for that. Which is a conversation for another day. But I also wouldn’t be pinning the fact that the stadium will have a fair few “Scouse” fans in the home end solely because the city/fanbase has a few Asian members.

😂😂 Clueless. I’m what you’d consider an “Asian” fan. Even though I don’t speak a word of my mother tongue and 3 generations of my family have lived in Leicester. Would never resell a ticket to an opposition fan. And I’m fairly sure that the majority of those selling their £20 ticket for £200 are not Asian either. Pointless making this a race thing when there’s literally no need to.

If there are clear to see Liverpool fans in our end (celebrating, wearing colours etc), they deserve a bit of disorder. The club I mean, for selling tickets to them scousers. And the “scousers” for turning up in our end.
