  1. Will be interesting to see how many points gets you a ST this year. Without a doubt it’ll be the lowest threshold in the last 7/8 years. On one hand, the general consensus on here is that there feels to be (in my opinion) a 65:35 ratio as to who’s renewing against who isn’t. That means roughly 8,000 new ST holders next season. I doubt that many members will even apply. So possibly even a chance of general sale. On the other hand, I feel there are many people not on here who are more of a happy clapper type. The “I’ve had it for 20 years and would never ever give it up” type. And the threshold may be the same as normal… Impossible to tell… I do wonder tho; 1. How many ST holders are actively on here 2. The exact number of members we have… some say around 10,000 but that does seem to be quite a small number given most games have an attendance of 31,000 (before we got even shitter then we were under Coops and lost all hope)
  2. Anticipate this being an unpopular opinion. Reading through some of the comments, I find it a bit odd that people turn a podcast off simply because they hear an opinion they don’t like. Whoever this Guy is, he’s come through our academy, played professional football, and has worked for the club in developing young players. More knowledge of the industry than most on here I’d assume. Also has Louis Page in his agency I think, so clearly still has an eye on us. If someone who’s spent their whole career bringing through young players says playing 6 boys straight from the academy in a game won’t work (not only for the club, but for the development of the players), he’s probably right. As supposed to some FT poster who’s probably never been involved in professional football suggesting we should shove 6 of them straight into the starting 11 for the remaining games. Even if you think he’s saying some of what he’s saying for personal PR reasons (which probably is true) there would still be elements of truth/genuine opinion in what he’s saying. Not worth turning it off imo.
  3. Don’t forget about Kasey and Chillwank.
  4. Let’s hope those times are coming back soon!
  5. I still cheer his goals in and support Newcastle when he’s playing and there’s no negative effect on them winning for us. Crazy the amount of criticism he got when he was here. Gwan Barnsehhhh
  6. Please never put Jamie Vardy in the same list as any of them others again. The goat deserves more than to be banded with BDR and Ayew and Vestergaard…
  7. I play Sunday League and believe me my shirt gets pulled multiple times a game. But I’d feel like an embarrassment if I went down like that. Soft - yet it takes 14 replays to come to a decision. “Clear and obvious mistake” it was. We should be losing 100%. But not like that.
  8. I’m sorry what? I don’t care no more and thus have no emotional bias in my opinion that it was never a penno. Lad throws his hands up and falls over like he’s been shot and apparently it’s a penalty. WHAT?!?! Never should that be a pen.
  9. 4 minutes and no goals conceded! Bets for when their first will go in? I say 12th minute.
  10. Hahahahahahaga
  11. Their atmosphere could’ve been killed by introducing safe standing… … or by the fact they’re on track to have the worst points tally in premier league history. 🤔
  12. How about Page? Or is he injured?
  13. Has sufficient demand been shown? I assume the club told you a date they'd inform you - and that should be soonish (if not already) given the fact that the ST renewals period is up - or am I expecting too much of the club?
  14. Is the ‘section’ referenced here the singing section? Next to no social media posts from UFS if so, considering it is quite a big announcement. Would be interested to know how this will work, in terms of the position of the UFS guys and the drum. Would they stay put or try and move to a more central point of the new ‘section’?
  15. In which case, IF we do get promoted, and he plays a part in it, we could offer him more than the likes of Man City and Chelsea. With us he’d be playing a decent amount of Premier League minutes. With them he’d probably go back to the 21s with an occasional appearance in a cup or Europe.
  16. Monga has more league minutes then will Alves for us.
  17. Loughborough is ours. In our shire. It’s blue. So why do Forest play there? They’re always very keen to point out they have a nicer county than us, so why do their youth teams play at Loughborough? We shouldn’t let them. Tell em to **** off out our territory.
  18. Sad that so many choose a club they have no tangible links with. Although I’m sure as these professionals get older, their allegiances will change, or they will at least develop a soft spot for the team they’ve come up through the ranks with. I remember reading Nelson is a United fan. I’m sure if we keep him till he’s 24/25 and he’s playing, he’ll say he’s a Leicester fan…
  19. He got a good reception given the circumstances. And a big ironic cheer when he finally got the ball played to him. Only worry is he won’t stick around (which he won’t - people on here saying he’s already agreed to join Man City). Therefore I’d rather give Evans them minutes in all honesty.
  20. Were they doubling up on him or on Ricky? Ricky was playing very high up.
  21. Hoping for a Barnes goal next
  22. It teaches resilience... If you can put up with the way LCFC is being run now, you'd be able to put up with anything.
  23. Fixed the email abit.
  24. I’d be interested to know who’s going today. And why they’re going.
