How can you hate Coldplay songs? They are too Meh for such emotions.

The debate tonight is a very very big deal. Harris has to show who she is, not get sidetracked by Trump nonsense, and try to show what a joke he is all in one debate.
-
I think if you know up front that the first 10k tickets are 175 and the second 10k are 225 etc. then at least you are prepared and can set yourself a maximum, rather than being ambushed after 3 hours of waiting by a double the price.
-
Its only true to a point though, I had a lovely group of mates whose worst poor behaviour would have been a bit of littering. Yes you are sillier or less restrained, but it depends on your start point imo.
-
Hang on - if he failed to take you off the house, do you perhaps still own half a house that might have increased in value significantly?
-
I think you've identified the problem right there. Either organise like a man or use the search like the kids!

Saw Lovejoy in Perth on Tuesday, like most other grownup there taking my Teenage daughter. They were pretty good for a sort of online only not signed to a proper label band.

He is not going to be arrested. The countries that have the chance won't and the countries that would won't have the chance.

Exactly. Had we stayed up we might well have been able to avoid the overspend as well - I think it is clear the numbers added up in the planning stage, but the disaster of a season meant a drop in year on year place money of 30M and that completely ****ed us. If they are going to say clubs must plan for relegation level finances every season that would be rather different.
-
So let me get this straight. We were relegated 18 days before the end of the accounting period so they cannot punish us for losing about 24M more than the rules allowed. I mean to be fair they are ****ing over teams who sold a player a few days after the cut off to get a better price, so they can't argue a few days doesn't matter. The rules are the rules. They wrote the rules.
-
This is about clarity I think. If you know ahead of time you can make an informed decision, if you are put under pressure at the last minute with a clock counting down the seconds until your tickets are released from hold and you lose out then that is manipulation which should be prohibited. Along with most online gambling probably. Dynamic pricing in the right place is fine. Uber for example is fine, you can choose to wait, get a normal cab etc, and the info on demand is used to encourage more drivers at certain times. Flights also, booking early enables them to schedule more capacity if needed. Festivals where they give you a discount for buying early as it helps their cashflow. All good reasons to have dynamic pricing.

I would defend their right to do it, but also criticise them for doing it and not give them any money.

Oasis and Football are not a monopoly, there are loads of other leisure activities. Free choice, choose not to enrich willy pullers. Being the single source of something doesn't mean anything unless you have power with it. Do Ticketmaster have power to make you buy Oasis tickets? I don't think they do.
-
Indeed. Something is worth what people will pay for it. Not that I don't have sympathy for people who waited hours for tickets only to find they were more expensive than expected at the end. That bit should be made clear in advance. The flip side is people have limits to what they will pay, and the seller risks that. Requires regulation in some sectors, like utilities supply. Not luxuries though.
-
The government are not and should not interfere with event pricing, whether that is football or Oasis. What should happen of course is people should not pay the ****ing stupid prices.
-
If you have a contract for supply only the onus would be on her to prove product fault. Unlikely you would be found responsible for the fitters work. You may not have helped yourself with the offer of remediation, but I would think you could argue in court if necessary that this was a decision made for customer relations and not based on legal liability. Out of interest why did you drop the fitter?
-
Agreed that is ridiculous. Still though in the bucket you mentioned above, those RI ratings could be 1 point off good and this simplified view doesn't help. It should be a score out of 100 imo.
-
It always seemed clear to me that drawing a line and saying if you are a tiny bit above you are outstanding, and a tiny bit below you are satisfactory etc was a bad idea. Should be shown as a score on a box plot across different categories so you can see the different areas and how they perform vs other schools in the UK.

Awful news. Way too bloody young. Barely older than Jamie. RIP Sol, thoughts with his family and friends.
