I distinctly remember a very attractive female police officer telling me and my friends to f**k off when we volunteered to be frisked by her rather than the other officers right on that spot 😂

Pure c0cks mate . Feels like a face saving exercise. Someone made the membership decision and dont want to go back on it for fear of losing face. Sounds a bit like a few places ive worked!

And me. My dreams have consisted of the mum from the 80s tv show bread, the foxy ladies and reliving a bonfire we had in pen 2 years ago which we danced round like native Americans (i think that's the acceptable terminology) making "wah wah wah" sounds. Yes i probably do need to see a doc 😂

Season ticket holders on the away priority scheme
rugbyblue replied to turkish14's topic in Ticket News and Travel
This season id say you were guaranteed a ticket with a membership. But in truth i doubt you will need one. A fair few games have gone to general sale which i see carrying on, given our current state Nb. Im assuming you meant a home game -
Ffs......again!!!! This is beyond ridiculous now

Keep going to games after mathematical relegation?
rugbyblue replied to Qwerty's topic in Leicester City Forum
Personally i wouldn't go, for the same reason i dont watch friendlies. If there is nothing to play for, its meaningless and games often lose that competitive edge......not that weve had that in many games this season . -
It may well have been a collection point rather than a ticket office. I just remember picking tickets up there a couple of times when i was young. Always thought it was unusual (in a good way) packed in among the houses

Loved that place! There was a ticket office in one of the upstairs rooms in that row of housing too, if i remember right. Basically walked up the stairs of a terraced house 😂

Chelsea Away - Sun 9th March, 14:00

20 odd back on sale now. -
Ive been saying this for a while but im not so sure these days, as much as i wish the gravy train derails. There's more football than ever on tv, there are games on any given night of the week, ticket prices are higher than ever, there is a div 1, 2 and 3 of european competition and lots of people are still lapping it up and making millionaires out of very average players and tv execs. Maybe people like you and me and a few others, who preferred the old days arent lapping it up but given lots are, it still doesnt seem to be slowing down any.

I suppose this is a risk you take but if you dont try youll never get there. My daughter wants to see stockholm anyway and is learning Swedish so at the very least we will get a city break if he doesn't deliver. Although the thought of the ABBA museum doesn't excite me quite as much as the derby 😂. Thanks for the link. Ill have a look and yes i did read about game being halted.

I hope you are right, in truth. As has been said plenty on here, the squad is pretty unlikeable. Vardy will likely retire and Fatawu and mads aside, i dont have any real enthusiasm for the rest. Theres no-one who will run through walls or bleed blue, like the walshies, elliotts, izzets and lennons of the past. Guys you knew would give it all. Even the original tommy Wright may not have been a world beater but was loved for his enthusiasm and and effort. Give me a team made up of triers and youth products over lazy millionaires all day long.

LCFC 0-2 Arsenal | Post-match thread
rugbyblue replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Im not saying vardy doesnt put himself about or can't pass, he just doesnt, in my opinion, have that cutting edge that he used to have, that the opposition couldn't deal with. These days he is just making up the numbers i am sorry to say. Sure, he will pop up with the odd goal here and there, but he used to be so much more of a threat. -
I cant believe after losing 9 out of the last 10 we are still within touching distance of 17th....assuming wolves dont get anything tomorrow, which logic says they shouldn't

Ive just booked my flights and hotel for djurgarden v aik. Pinning my hopes on this djurgarden employee coming good now. Fingers crossed. I just watched the end of a swedish cup game involving hammarby against a team i havent heard of and despite one end being empty the atmosphere still sounded fantastic. Enjoy

LCFC 0-2 Arsenal | Post-match thread
rugbyblue replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Indeed he didnt 😂. He was still one of our positives.....at least better than the alternatives anyway which isnt really saying a lot. Ive been resisting calling for vardy to be dropped for daka (to say im not a daka fan is an understatement) but hes a spent force these days. Hes been phenomenal over the years but you cant beat father time . it reminds me of a once great boxer going through the motions and getting beaten up. You dont want to see them in the ring again ruining their legacy. -
To be honest, if we dont sell out and he isn't denying a city fan a ticket, im not that arsed if he gets one or not. The hooligan days of "infiltrating/taking the home end" are long gone. A solitary away fan wont change that. But i dont get it really, ive been an away fan in the home end (at cov and villa of all places) and its not much fun. Can't cheer a goal or sing with your fellow city fans, just sit on your hands basically. But the fact is that youd be daft to risk your own membership or ST buying a ticket for a stranger on the Internet.

Looking for a Chelsea ticket Sunday March 9th
rugbyblue replied to Chris A's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Im guessing you aren't all that familiar with this site. I also see the advice you have been given isn't particularly helpful. What they should have said, which wouldn't have hurt or taken very long is, this should be in the ticket thread for chelsea away march 9th which can be found in this section, probably below. Good luck although if it were me, i wouldnt get my hopes up. I dont think i would buy a ticket for somebody i didn't know and risk a ban if they misbehave or get found out -
Agree. Wont listen to the b0llocks. Jermaine defoe currently on mute waiting for 2nd half . Goes off the second the final whistle blows. One game at a time, obviously yeah we can obviously concentrate on the league, er yeah, obviously its a team game, there are positives we can take blah blah and repeat .....yawn

Brian Little should never have got the grief he did when he left. We were awful for a long period before he came in with 10,000 at filbert street and flirting with relegation from division 2.. He changed us, gave us a few wembley appearances and ultimately got us into the premier league . Very influential character in our history if you ask me.

Ive read these threads from afar lately, rather than commenting before now It was good whilst it lasted. The impression i get, although chip in if you disagree, is that it is largely the younger elements of fans on here that are angry and feel we should be challenging for honours. Lets say these fans are 25/26 now, if they started going at say 13 in 2012 they would have seen the most successful period in our history- winning the championship, great escape, winning the prem, champions league , established top half team, brink of top 4 twice, fa cup. For them it is the norm and they are angry it has gone to sh*t. For the older fans, at least my mates ive been going with since 1990, we saw it for what it was, a glorious period in which we over achieved massively due to excellent management, recruitment and a bit of luck. It was fantastic but not a true indication of our status in football which essentially has always been a yo-yo club. People point at Brighton , brentford, forest this year, villa getting champions league football. Their success is temporary and will be for any number of clubs that have short periods of success. Its great at the time but unless you have unlimited funds like man city, Liverpool, chelsea, arsenal it just isnt sustainable over a long period of time. Im no happy clapper, i let the players have it if there is a lack of effort or they fall short. Same with the board and whilst i agree it is time for KP to **** off, for me it isnt so much about the fact we aren't a top prem side any more, it is more about the lack of care for what supporters want...expanded singing section, standing, reasonable ticket prices, general sale etc . Whilst sport is about ambition and trying to go as far as you can, my best most enjoyable days as a fan were largely in the lower divisions. Winning the championship was fun. Playoffs were exciting, visiting grotty Northern towns was an adventure. The premier league shows the worst of football and the greed that goes with it. It isnt the end of the world if we aren't part of it.

And if you want to make a proper day of it, a walk round the back of the station where for a small fee there are a number of substance dependent ladies willing to make your day complete .😂

Get north Norfolk digital mid morning matters on the radio. What's the matter with you 😂

You dont surprise me with the club car park . I have a little spot i use to park and get away reasonably quickly which i won't disclose on here or it wont be my spot next game 😂 Fair play on the distance you travel 👍.
