The fact some on here think this won't reach boiling point is crazy. It's already toxic in the stands. Wont be long before it's nuclear! Top's got no choice but to communicate! I'd wager something will come out shortly after the 23/24 financial report is released.

Think you know the answer Ric. 🙃

Called for us to be all over Philogene a week ago as he was getting no gametime at Villa...however we were never throwing £21m on him so don't think we had much of a chance. One things for sure though...if Ipswich go down with us, we aint getting near them next season. A championship superteam!
-
Links absolutely everywhere for everyone bar us. This is the worst I've felt for a while!
-
Ok I'll rephrase - "it's irrelevant to us how busy other teams are". If another team isn't busy, it has no bearing on whether we can or can't be.
-
And whilst that may be true, we are definitely in the most need of reinforcements to stay in the division. Southampton are down so you look to the team not cut adrift yet but in a bad way...and you find US. So in short I couldn't care less what other team's are doing/not doing. Irrelevant to our plight.

If anyone on here is saying "Yes" to KDH but "No" to Moder you're missing the whole point. Why would we need an 8th central midfielder? .
-
Can always rely on someone on FT to somehow turn losing Facu into getting some nobody in return...at a cost no less.
-
Always thought we were missing another midfielder that doesn't contribute to G/A.
-
He's not genuine though. Can see right through he's there to make rage-bait posts.

In what world would it eclipse our story? MGW cost more than our whole squad in 15/16.

Club radio silence creates a vacuum and toxicity
TheGoldenGod replied to Wasyls Pec Deck's topic in Leicester City Forum
I get what you're saying @Finnegan but at a certain point the club is going to be backed into a corner to say SOMETHING. It's reaching boiling point. We desperately need signings, hearing nothing and the first we're going to get is next week when we breach PSR. It's already toxic, the club can't sit and bathe in this without some response! Otherwise we'll be relegated before a ball's kicked next to many. -
Yeah we weren't from anything I saw either but just seemed like something we needed. Not sure how much it would have cost because as is, we can't loan him!
-
Can forget about Philogene then, Everton pushing for him!
-
Yeah my thoughts were similar to what Tommy G said. New owners might take a more expansive approach and the new gaff might appeal to Potter, I dunno. It's either them or West Ham because he's not getting a better job than that and the rings he's ran around all the clubs around us hasn't been a great look.
-
Always hate when other fans comment on how we should feel about our team so at the danger of sounding hypocritcal, he's the best they could do now and best chance of keeping them up. If they mean a decision at the end of the season then I can see why the new owners would want someone more progressive, new stadium, fresh start type thing! Potter could be a decent fit for them.

Living in the Past and The Impact on Today
TheGoldenGod replied to MattFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think we're all susceptible at points to going overboard or maybe feeling entitled with some of our comments but I think it can't be understated the position we were in a few years ago, whether it being strengthening after winning the PL title or missing out on opportunities to try to ensure top 4 status in back to back seasons. If you get that right, the trajectory is much much different! However, if/when we go down (and probably don't come back up for a while), I often find myself thinking about our "golden period" and how much we actually achieved. Take all these 'woke' clubs now getting praised by the media i.e Brighton, Bournemouth, hell even Newcastle...they've won BUGGER ALL and will win BUGGER ALL. Someone explain to me logically how especially the former clubs will ever win an FA Cup, they just aren't at the level, squad depth isn't there to rotate and consistently perform in the league, let alone the PL league. My point is we made the MOST out of our successful era in my opinion, other clubs just have a couple of great seasons they reminisce on where maybe they qualified for Europe in some capacity but never had anything tangible at the end of it! Always worth savoring what we actually accomplished. -
Not sure why we're bothered. We went down the second we sh*t it against Wolves. The momentum shift would have been mad!
-
What's actually going on with our injuries too? Heard nothing about Ricky P for ages, seems like he's been gone for an eternity! The Mads one is just odd, wasn't bad then became worse. Got others dropping like flies too and as we've all said, Fatawu being gone for the season is a cruel cruel blow. He was the spark for us to survive!
