  1. That Fatawu goal is very much like the one McAteer scored against these. KDH assisted that too
  2. I'm fine with music but not straight away after the whistle while the crowd are still up and buzzing. Or play it quieter. It shouldn't drown out a few thousand people.
  3. Great last 10 today. Without UFS that's a nervous quiet crowd. Good after the final whistle too.
  4. Great effort, must be a big relief.
  5. Obviously it would damage UFS relationship with the club if it doesn't get signed off. Is it at all feasible to do without club support? How many bodies would be needed to get it all done in the 60/70 mins before it gets too busy prior to kick off?
  6. Is the club required to sign off on it to let you in early to set up?
  7. Ahh that blissful 2-3 seconds when you first wake up before you remember yesterday.
  8. Not going up this year. Won't go up next year with points deduction. Club rotting in this league until 2027 at best. Sickening.
  9. Listened to this yesterday on a long drive and echo all the other comments, really interesting pod and some great ideas. I've always been bemused watching football highlights and seeing thousands upon thousands of empty seats. Not really something Leicester struggle with but surely L1/L2 clubs should reach out and offer free tickets to kids/reduced family packages to get the next generation of fans in. As pointed out in the pod and above you might take a £30 hit on a full price ticket but you'll earn many thousands over the next 40/50/60 years...
  10. They can point to the gamble of competing all they like in the club statement but unfortunately when the risk doesn't pay off people must be held accountable. I'd like to say Brendan has been held accountable but with the payoff he's probably fairly happy. Hopefully he doesn't see another top job. A CEO is there to provide strategy, and ultimate accountability. Not anticipating this kind of expenditure to income strategy would cause us serious trouble with 1 average/poor season, and then putting a stop to it is a fireable offense. The overall transfer strategy/business has been very poor for a number of years now and who else to take responsibility but the sporting director? You can see the contracts and wages offered are a millstone round the clubs neck at the moment. It's a massive shame that the bet didn't pay off, but imagine explaining to your other half that City won the last three matches so it was entirely reasonable for you to bet 116% of your income on the next result...
  11. They were the suggested guidelines (6pts +1pt per every £5m over) but the commission didn't approve them. It's a bit open ended really, with severe deductions like Everton's then going to appeal etc. I guess the bad news is everton breached by about £20m(?) and have ended up with 6pts. Will be interesting to see any other decisions before we're in the dock to see if they have some sort of trendline/calculation. EFL is much more straightforward, 3pts + 1pt per £2.5m up to a maximum of 12pts docked.
  12. Pretty sure the idea behind FFP is to prevent clubs going into administration, and therefore the punishment doesn't exceed the 10 points docked for that?
  13. Subs made a big difference at the end, injected that bit of intensity required to see us over the line.
  14. How does it work then if we get promoted, finalize our accounts in June, the EFL look at them and find we breached the rules. 10 point deduction waiting for us on return or points deduction in the prem?
  15. I posted this in the post match thread but probably fits better here. With the central midfield being so depleted/ineffective recently it's ruined any variation in the attack. In the last 5/6 games once the wingers have been sussed out it stifles everything and the attack breaks down. The games where we've come out and scored 2/3 goals in 10 mins, killing the game, have come from rapid change in where the attack is channeled through. Usually changing from the wings to quick passing and movement through the centre. Silver lining of Ndidi being back might help us unlock that option through the centre again.

  17. I can't think of a club other than perhaps man city that would prefer their current owners over ours. What has been achieved over the last 10 years is beyond the wildest dreams of most clubs in our position. Be careful what you wish for.
  18. Was very tough today, and it felt like we offered very little over the course of the game. QPR were clinical. Biggest difference today from the last 2 losses were that we didn't really create changes, let alone putting them away. Work to do and need to turn it around and quick.
  19. Donated money as I selfishly don't fancy lugging a crate of pasta down on the bus. Well done to all involved
  20. Choudhury has been impressive tonight, really composed even on a yellow.
  21. Felt good in SK1 tonight. It is baffling how you can have 2000(?) people chanting 40 feet away and not join in on instinct.
  22. Fantastic first half, some lovely play of inviting the pressure, passing through the high press and crucially; quickly then either running or playing forward where huge gaps were available. The space afforded to our wingers was naive at best. Second half the changes they made closed up much of that space and so made us look a little more stilted. Still in control and thought our changes came at a reasonable time to prevent any momentum swinging their way. Praet I thought was very good first half and as others have said maybe lacking some fitness.
  23. Hey! What's wrong with you? Leaving the match at 83 You know the games not over?! You'll like it if you stay Got to turn around Got to turn around https://youtu.be/2kXMcjKhBgU?si=9Ee7pkJNIXefXpj3
  24. I feel there's an element of revisionism in the fan base too. Go back to before the season started and you had an unproven manager, club in shambles, worrying pre-season and we didn't really know what to expect. Come out flying, setting records and now it seems a controlled win is not enough with constant free-flowing attacking football now the minimum expectation.
  25. Yeah, little strange as it looked like he was pointing for the players to head over.
