  1. Really looking forward to this, mainly seeing the squad and set up of it. Nice feeling to have after so long of being meh about watching us, just hope it isn’t a short lived feeling! C’mon boys into em!!!
  2. Faes must be dropped, his arrogance needs a serious humbling.
  3. To be fair, the east stand has been singing anti Rudkin chants since last season.
  4. If heads don’t roll after this they never will, Whelan should have to come out and explain the due diligence she claimed she did. The whole thing has been disgusting from the get go.
  5. It’s a gamble, no doubt about it but then 99% of managers would be a gamble also. I don’t know a lot about him as a manager as I don’t really follow football from abroad, my overriding emotion is ‘it can’t be any worse can it?!’ I hope he brings a decent set off staff with him that are sturdy pillars to prop him up. I feel genuine excitement for Saturday now which I haven’t felt for a long time, so that’s the major positive I’ll take out of this as a minimum.
  6. That sounds promising, looking good for summer installation then?
  7. Can’t wait for Top to dish out free stroopwafels.
  8. I hope it’s not Carrick, apart from a good start with Boro he’s not really pulled up trees since.
  9. Stating the obvious here but it’s absolutely vital they get this appointment right, everything must be considered. Potter is a builder and needs time, do we have much time to take a slow burner risk? Moyes is a quick fix who you’d expect to keep us up but is he a long term appointment when he doesn’t play the style the owners want? RVN although he’s shown early promising signs as a manager, there has been a history of friction with players which seems to happen here with various managers. We’re in this mess because of Rudkin, time to dig us out of the hole you got us in and get this appointment right.
  10. Two lucky wins papered over the cracks, the longer this drags on the more painful it is for everyone.
  11. If Golding doesn’t choose for his career number to be 57 then I shall be seriously let down.
  12. Left sided defender, that’s the end of Thomas then but we knew that already. I’m more intrigued if it means he isn’t fancying VK. I’d argue a right back is more important with Ricky out, coupled with the amount of goals we’re conceding on that side. And JJ can cover left back if VK is out.
  13. With the homework Enzo does on his opposition you can pretty much guarantee they’re going to target our right hand side. That and also the fact Faes at right centre back can often go steaming out of position like a bull in a china shop. I’m not the most positive about us at the moment anyway but really feel like this is going to be a mauling live on TV. A ‘look what you could have won’ feeling when Enzo hands our arse to us.
  14. Pleasantly surprised to come on and see this thread… finally!! No mention of how this will affect the L&K blocks. Does anyone know if this will mean stricter no standing enforcement in there? I would assume it probably does mean the end of it, and tbh I think it’s about time all standers integrated together.
  15. MNF was great, they used to dish out loads of free tickets to local football teams so you could all go together. Monday nights under the lights in the Carling Stand as a young lad, those were the days.
  16. Wow, no wonder my season ticket hasn’t resold. I’m pleased to see it though, I hope it shows that ripping off your loyal supporters to attract day trippers is not sustainable. Unfortunately I don’t believe they can see past the end of their nose though.
  17. Felt like this for several years now, I think it started during the Rodger’s era mainly when it started to go downhill. Used to miss 1 or 2 matches home and away all season, using pretty much all my annual leave on midweek matches. But now I only keep my season ticket so I can go now and again and see the lads, I try to make one match a month. The Mrs says to me to give my season ticket up and buy match day tickets now and again but there’s no way I’m paying for a membership to get access to £60 tickets, I know I’d never go.
  18. I don’t just want him out. I want him out out!!
  19. The biggest frustration for me is that this all appears to mean that interest rates will stay higher for longer. I come out of a 5 year fix in August and was hoping I’d got lucky avoiding most of it. It sounds like it’ll still be at 4% by my renewal date now. A lot of people have had it worse with with over 5% but it’s really giving me the jitters with how much it will go up, hundreds a month.
  20. The results we are getting feel very lucky to me. Most games this season we could be 5 down by half time, we’re giving far too many chances away. I hope I’m wrong but I feel like there is a drubbing on the horizon, probably on Friday night knowing us. Going behind every match and giving so many chance away simply isn’t sustainable.
  21. It almost feels like the sustainability excuse is a sly dig at the group for using that as a reason to try and get rid of clappers previously. Absolutely disgusting and inexcusable from what feels less and less like ‘my club’. To the UFS lads pushing these sort of great things, keep up the good fight these buffoons won’t be at the club forever.
  22. Sounds like I’m in the same boat and frame of mind as you. I have two concerns holding me back from giving my season ticket up, one is the lads we go and have a drink with before. We’re based all over Leicestershire and a couple even further adrift. We’ve all been going together for 20+ years and I’d be sad to stop seeing them regularly. The other reason is in the back of my mind in 3-4 years my lad will most likely want to start going and I’d then have to start again from scratch myself with regards to priority and getting a season ticket again.
  23. My season ticket has resold and I don’t believe it becomes available to buy until all non season ticket tickets have sold. So I think it probably will/has.

  25. I loved the Odyssey and Valhalla maps and storylines, nothing since. The Odyssey map was beautiful and then Valhalla I think I loved because it was the English countryside, but I agree they were pretty much the same game with a different mask on.
